| With the promulgation and implementation of “the Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Advancing Morality and Educating People” in 2014 and “The General High School Geography Curriculum Standards” in 2020(2017 edition,2020 revision),how to effectively cultivate students’ feelings of home and country in geography teaching in senior high school has become a topic of common concern for the majority of geography teachers in senior high school and geography education researchers.Combined with the characteristics of the subject,the implementation of moral education,the cultivation of students’ feelings of home and country in geography teaching in senior high school has been in-depth studied since 2016.Cultivating students’ feelings of home and country in geography teaching in senior high school can deepen the integration of the education of home-country feelings and geography curriculum in senior high school,implement the core quality of geography,and promote the in-depth development of students’ feelings,attitudes and values.However,it has been found that the content system of home-country feelings education in geography teaching in senior high school is not clear enough,the connection between theory and practice is not close enough,the practical cases need to be increased,and there is a lack of global awareness and international vision in practice.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to explore how to effectively cultivate students’ feelings of home and country in geography teaching in senior high school,and to provide reference for the teaching practice of cultivating students’ feelings of home and country in geography teaching in senior high school.This study takes cultivating students’ feelings of home and country in different regional scales as the practical goal,uses literature method,content analysis method and case analysis method,it makes clear the current situation of cultivating students’ feelings of home and country in geography teaching in senior high school by reviewing and sorting out domestic and foreign literatures related to the study of home-country feelings,under the guidance of life education theory,constructivism theory,social identity theory and geography teaching theory,constructing the content system of home-country feelings education in geography teaching in senior high school;sorting out the corresponding teaching contents in the People’s Education edition of geography textbooks in senior high school(2019 edition);putting forward some strategies to cultivate students’ feelings of home and country in geography teaching in senior high school;designing cases with“agricultural location factors” and “when the ‘blue sky’ often exists”,then practicing and reflecting with “when the ‘blue sky’ often exists”.In this study,the content system of home-country feelings education in geography teaching in senior high school is divided into three first-level indicators: local,country and global according to the regional scale,it extends the concepts that students should have in different regional scales,and forms eight second-level indicators: family view,hometown view,country view,national view,cultural view,political view,resource view and global view,and illustrates with examples.This study believes that the feelings of home and country is not only one of the basic contents of geography curriculum in senior high school,but also the potential teaching task of geography teaching in senior high school by sorting out the corresponding teaching contents in the People’s Education edition of geography textbooks in senior high school(2019 edition),teachers should cultivating students’ feelings of home and country as the normal teaching.Through the research,three strategies are put forward for cultivating students’ feelings of home and country in different regional scales:(1)Excavate local geographical materials to enhance the regional affiliation of home;(2)Show the great achievements in China and enhance the feelings of national identity;(3)Introduce foreign related cases to strengthen the cultivation of global awareness. |
