| Scientific and technological progress is bound to bring about changes in lifestyle. With the application of the Internet in the modern service industry,a number of new occupations have been created.Food delivery riders are one of a large number of people who rely on online platforms for employment. However, due to the ambiguity of labor relations and frequent occupational risk events, the lack of social security rights and interests of food delivery riders has attracted wide attention.Based on the behavioral decision theory, social justice theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, this paper investigated and studied the current situation of takeout riders participating in social insurance in F City and the influencing factors of their participating behaviors through questionnaire survey after summarizing and learning the previous research results through searching literature. Then SPSS software was used to collate and summarize the collected sample data and conduct preliminary descriptive statistical analysis.Chi-square test was conducted for each sample variable in personal characteristics, family conditions, work conditions and social insurancerelated conditions,so as to screen out the factors that may have an independent and significant impact on the rider’s insurance participation behavior. On this basis,a binary logistics model is constructed, and regression analysis is made on the relevant variable data,in order to find out the variables that can significantly influence the insurance participation behavior of this group independently.Based on the results of all the above statistical analysis, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the perspective of stimulating individual factors and improving external environmental factors to promote the insurance participation behavior of riders and improve the social security level of food delivery riders and other new industry practitioners. |
