With the rapid development of social economy, population mobility has become a trend of social development.Through the transfer of resources, society can continue to develop and progress. As one of the most important resources, people can not only promote social progress through mobility, but also a process of self-improvement.In the modern floating population, the health problem has been concerned by people all the time.Medical insurance is a kind of social welfare provided by the state for the people.Every citizen has the responsibility and obligation to participate in medical insurance. In the long run, more and more migrants participate in medical insurance, which is conducive to achieving social equity and promoting people's livelihood development. This paper mainly studies the influencing factors of floating population participating in medical insurance in Northeast China. At present, the enthusiasm of floating population participating in medical insurance is far lower than that of most areas. In this paper, the method of combining theory with practice is used to select the survey data of the National Survey of Migrant Population in 2015 by the National Health Planning Commission. The factors affecting the participation of the floating population in medical insurance in Northeast China are analyzed from the aspects of individual, family, employment and mobility characteristics.Through the data analysis,we can find that the young and middle-aged male labor force is the dominant worker of the migrant population in Northeast China, mainly rural migrant workers to cities,so the education level is low;the employment of migrant workers is mainly in private and private units, and most of them are employees.Through the analysis of the individual, family, employment and mobility characteristics of the floating population,we can conclude that variables within different characteristics have different degrees of impact on the participation of the floating population in medical insurance. This paper draws on and summarizes the status quo and influencing factors of domestic and foreign research scholars on the participation of migrants in medical insurance. In view of the fact that the economy in the northeast region is slightly backward and the talent attraction is insufficient. The author believes that by increasing the participation rate of medical insurance,it is possible to retain talents more effectively and increase the inflow of migrants, which will lead to economic development in the Northeast. In this paper, binary regression analysis is used as the research method, and the theoretical concepts such as floating population, medical insurance,thrust-pull,and Lewis dual economy are briefly introduced. Then the author describes the respondents, mainly describing the individual status of the floating population, the economic status and employment status. The population differences of the floating population in the Northeast region were mainly analyzed, and the logistical regression model was used to analyze the significant rate of affecting the floating population's participation in medical insurance. It can be analyzed that education, income, gender, etc.have a greater impact on it.Therefore, corresponding measures have been proposed, such as raising their education level and awareness of participation;they can eliminate geographical discrimination and increase the participation rate of agricultural hukou residents;improve the sense of belonging of the floating population.
