| The China University Basketball Association(CUBAL),as the highest level competition of campus basketball in China,plays a role in cultivating competitive reserve talents,promoting the development of campus basketball,and disseminating campus basketball culture.With the upgrading of CUBAL scale and expansion of its connotation,higher requirements have been put forward for the training level and coaching ability of coaches who guide,lead,and command the development of university basketball teams.However,there is relatively little research on the core competencies,professional knowledge,and decision-making abilities of CUBAL basketball coaches,especially research on their coaching and competency.Based on this,this paper,based on the theory of "iceberg model",adopts the methods of literature review,expert interview,Delphi method method,analytic hierarchy process(AHP),fuzzy comprehensive evaluation(FCE)and other methods to construct a structural model of the competency characteristics of CUBAL basketball coaches from five dimensions of personal professional knowledge,basketball professional knowledge and ability,competition guidance skills,training planning and implementation,and attitude and quality,in order to evaluate Provide theoretical basis and reference for the improvement of competence and coaching ability.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Following the principles of comprehensiveness and systematicness,scientificity and rationality,guidance and applicability,combined with text analysis,Delphi method method and analytic hierarchy process(AHP),this paper constructs a CUBAL basketball coach competency structure model that covers five dimension criteria level indicators of personal professional knowledge,basketball professional knowledge and ability,competition guidance skills,training planning and implementation,and attitude and quality,and 27 program level indicators.(2)Criteria level λ Max=5.1727,CR=0.0385<0.1,CI=0.0432;The consistency of expert opinions is good.The weight ranking of each element is as follows: training planning and execution(0.379)>competition guidance skills(0.264)>basketball professional knowledge and ability(0.2022)>personal professional knowledge(0.0818)>attitude and literacy(0.0729).Combining the example of Shandong Agricultural University basketball coach competency evaluation,the model application confirms the feasibility of the model in CUBAL basketball coach competency evaluation.(3)The evaluation of the competency of CUBAL basketball coaches should focus on the formulation of their pre match plan,the research and judgment in the game,the timely adjustment of the game’s skills and tactics at the critical moment,the adjustment of replacement,the accuracy and decisiveness of on-the-spot command,the structure and application of professional basketball knowledge(command,organization,learning,management,etc.),the correct education concept,character education,and other aspects.(4)Based on the structural model of competency characteristics of CUBAL basketball coaches,combined with the results of factor analysis,this paper puts forward the optimization countermeasures for improving the competency of CUBAL basketball coaches by strengthening theory,improving the knowledge structure of coaches,focusing on practice,updating the special training concept and training mode of coaches,improving their quality,improving their competition guidance and adaptability,multi-dimensional security,and improving the scientific evaluation mechanism of coaches. |
