In 2020,the Ministry of Education issued the " Guiding Outline for Ideological and Political Construction of Higher Education Curriculum," hereinafter referred to as the " Outline." The outline indicates that it is necessary to sort out the teaching content and value concept of professional courses according to the characteristics of professional courses,and deeply explore the ideological and political elements contained in professional courses,and then organically integrate them into the teaching of professional courses to achieve the effect of moistening things silently.The rise of campus football to the national strategic position is not only because of its function of improving physical quality,but more importantly,it plays the educational function of campus football.Football elective course in colleges and universities is not only an important way to carry out campus football,but also a carrier of ideological and political construction of professional courses.It undertakes the important task of cultivating students ’ football technology and ideological and political quality.Therefore,this study tests the teaching effect and promotes the ideological and political construction of football elective courses by carrying out the teaching design and teaching experiment of football elective courses integrated with ideological and political education.This study uses literature data method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,experimental method,mathematical statistics method,logical analysis method and other research methods to conduct experimental research on the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into the teaching of football elective courses in sports colleges and universities.Taking the ideological and political experiment of football elective course in Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education as the research object,and taking the students of 2020 national traditional sports major in Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education as the investigation object and experimental object,an 8-week ideological and political teaching experiment of football elective course was carried out.Firstly,the ideological and political elements contained in the football elective course are excavated,and then the ideological and political content is integrated into the original football elective course teaching plan of Guangzhou Sport University.The experimental class uses the football elective course teaching plan that integrates the ideological and political elements for teaching;the control class uses the traditional football elective course teaching plan for teaching.After the experiment,the influence of football elective course teaching and traditional football elective course teaching on students ’ physical quality,football technology,football learning interest and ideological,political and moral quality level was analyzed.Through the comparison of the data before and after the experiment in the experimental class and the control class,the following conclusions are drawn :(1)The integration of football elective courses into ideological and political teaching in sports colleges has no obvious effect on the improvement of students ’physical quality,indicating that its effect is not much different from that of traditional football elective courses.(2)The integration of football elective courses in sports colleges and universities into ideological and political teaching has no obvious effect on improving students ’football skills,but the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the ball and the kick is greater than that of the traditional football elective course teaching,indicating that the positive impact on students ’ thinking and behavior can also have a beneficial impact on their technical learning.(3)It has a positive impact on improving students ’ positive interest,football participation,football attention,football awareness,and improving students ’ negative interest.It has little impact on football autonomous learning interest.Compared with traditional football elective course teaching,the integration of curriculum ideological and political education into football elective course teaching has a more obvious effect on reducing students ’ negative interest.(4)The integration of ideological and political education into football elective courses in physical education colleges is better than traditional football elective courses in improving students ’ ideological,political and moral quality.Among them,the collectivism spirit of students in the experimental group has been significantly improved after the experiment,especially in the three dimensions of mental health,social morality and sports morality.It is significantly better than traditional football elective courses,indicating that the integration of ideological and political education into football elective courses can have a more positive impact on students ’ideological,political and moral quality.(5)From the perspective of students ’ physical quality,football technology,football learning interest and ideological,political and moral quality changes,the teaching effect of integrating curriculum ideological and political education into football elective courses in sports colleges is better than that of traditional football elective courses.It is mainly reflected in that this teaching can not only make students’ football technology learning not backward,but also improve students ’ football learning interest and ideological,political and moral quality.
