| Information and communication technology has contributed to the birth of electronic games and online games.With its thriving,convenient mobile terminals have become a new carrier of games relying on photoelectric digital analog signals.Mobile games,now the forefront of gaming development,by virtue of mobile communication networks and device terminals realized the advantages of lightweight game volume,diversified game types and convenient game operation,which facilitates the use of game players and users’ experience.It invades players’ time and space in a more deeply way,which can be regarded as deeply embedding in players’ daily life and become a part of players’ daily life.In the self-created game world and the virtual simulacra space,the game skin,as the product of the advancement of media technology,shows huge economic and unique cultural attributes under the setting of Honor of Kings.What is it,how does it interact with players,and how to explain the logic of players’ consumption and use? What cultural phenomena and practices emerged in its interaction with players and so on are worthy of further analysis.Under the perspective of philosophy of technology,taking player’s body as basis to observe the interaction between human and technology in the game world becomes the starting point of this research.Based on this,the meaning chain of the relationship between body,player,avatar and game skin could be interpreted.Through text analysis and in-depth interview and by theoretical speculating and empirical material collating,focusing on the body and technical objects,answers what cultural phenomena and cultural significance are caused by the virtual existence of game players,the media utility of game skin,the logic of players’ use of game skin,and the interaction between players and game skin.By combing and analyzing the research results,it is concluded that the game skin constructs a fashion society of mimicry,shaping human design by weaving codes in the digital world,and enables the players realizing convergences in ego,society and culture these triple variations in the real dimension.Finally,according to the nature of game skin technology,its potential hidden dangers in the aspects of identity transformation,cultural application and aesthetic discipline should not be ignored. |
