Self-control has a profound impact on children’s intellectual, behavioral, social adaptability, cognitive ability and other development.Attention stability is the core and foundation of self-control,and the development of self-control is inseparable from good attention stability.6-7 years old is a critical period for the development of children’s attention stability, and intervention during this period plays a crucial role in children’s attention stability development. The study took the attention stability of children aged 6-7 as the research object, and used literature method, questionnaire survey method,Delphi method, experimental method, mathematical statistics method and other methods to study. To verify whether table tennis training has a significant effect on improving attention stability in children aged 6-7 years;and whether there was a significant difference in the improvement of attention stability in children of different sexes under the same intervention conditions; It also explores whether table tennis training will have an impact on children’s academic performance and whether there will be gender differences in academic performance improvement on the basis of improving children’s attention stability. It provides a reference to promote the development of children’s attention stability and the improvement of academic performance.Research results:(1)Through repeated measurement ANOVA,the effect of table tennis training at different intervention times on the attention stability level of children in different groups was explored. The results showed that the time effect F=483.986,P=0.000<0.01,had a very significant difference. The group effects F=4.058,P=0.047<0.05 were statistically significant. The interaction effect of "time*group"F=365.967,P=0.000<0.01,had a very significant difference.(2)Through further analysis of the measured data of the experimental group and the control group,it was found that after 6 weeks of table tennis training, the concentration stability of the children in the experimental group was significantly improved compared with the previous test(P<0.01),and there was no significant difference with the control group(P>0.05);After 12 weeks of table tennis training, the results of the post-test digital elimination test in the experimental group were significantly different from those in the pre-test and intermediate test(P<0.01).There were also significant differences between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.01).(3)Through repeated measurement ANOVA,table tennis training had an effect on the attention stability level of 6-7-year-old children. The main effect of gender F=0.685,P=0.410>0.05,there was no obvious difference in the main effect of gender. The interaction effect of time and sex was F=3.962,P=0.021<0.05,which were significantly different. The interaction effect of "group*gender" F=0.052,P=0.821>0.05 was not statistically significant.(4)By further comparing the scores of children of different genders in the experimental group,it was found that there was a significant difference between the results of the middle test and the previous test(P=0.026<0.05),and there was a very significant difference between the results of the post-test and the intermediate test and the previous test(P<0.01).There was a significant difference between the girls’intermediate test and the previous test(P=0.005<0.01),and the post-test and the pre-test and intermediate test results were statistically significant(P<0.01).And through the line chart,it was found that girls’ numerical elimination test scores improved more than boys’ scores.(5)There was a significant difference in the impact of table tennis training on the academic performance of children aged 6-7,and the improvement effect of mathematics performance was better than that of Chinese score, and the improvement of girls’ performance was higher than that of boys.Specifically, the Chinese scores(P=0.034<0.05)and mathematics scores(P=0.023<0.05)in the experimental group were significantly different from the previous test. The Chinese scores of girls in the experimental group were significantly different from the previous test(P=0.025<0.05),and the mathematics scores were very significant(P=0.004<0.01).There were no significant differences between the control group’s Chinese scores(P=0.153>0.05)and mathematics(P=0.114>0.05)compared with the previous test. There was no significant difference between the Chinese scores of girls in the control group(P=0.082>0.05)and mathematics scores(P=0.043<0.05).(6)The correlation regression analysis of attention stability and academic performance of children aged 6-7 years found that there was a significant positive correlation between the two(r=0.881,P=0.000<0.001),and the univariate linear regression equation between the two was (?)=27.106+10.587x.Conclusions:(1)In this study, the table tennis training content was modified according to expert opinions, which was suitable for the physical and mental development characteristics of children at this stage, and it was verified that this training content had obvious effects on the development of attention stability in children aged 6-7.(2)Table tennis training has a significant effect on the improvement of attention stability in children aged 6-7 years old,and the longer the intervention period, the more obvious the effect, that is,the attention stability test score after 12 weeks of table tennis training is significantly higher than the test score in the first 6 weeks.(3)Table tennis training significantly improved the level of attention stability of children of different genders aged 6-7,and the improvement effect of attention stability in girls was higher than that of boys.(4)Table tennis training can promote the improvement of academic performance by improving the attention stability of 6-7-year-old children, and there is a positive and significant correlation between attention stability and academic performance.(5)After 12 weeks of table tennis training, the Chinese, mathematics and overall scores of children aged 6-7 have increased significantly, and the increase in mathematics performance is higher than that of Chinese score.(6)There were significant increases in Chinese, mathematics and overall scores of children of different genders, but girls’ performance increased more than boys, which may be caused by girls’ attention stability improving more than boys’ attention.
