Education is the foundation of a nation, and since the national development strategy of strengthening education, secondary vocational education has been highly valued and supported by the state, and the use of new teaching resources to facilitate student learning and teacher development has been a top priority.Due to the rapid development of online technology in the Internet+ era,the educational needs of today’s society are constantly changing and becoming more precise, direct and interactive. The emergence of micro-lessons is based on this environment, and their short, concise, flexible and interactive features can largely compensate for the uneven distribution of educational resources, inflexible traditional learning formats and inconsistent content. The practical application of micro-lecture by secondary tourism teachers is affected by various factors,so it is necessary to study the current situation of its application and identify the existing problems. This study takes the application of micro-lessons as the entry point, theoretical construction, current application status, problems and reasons, and optimization strategies. As a dependent variable to promote education and teaching reform, the effective application and promotion of micro-lecture requires a comprehensive consideration of various factors, conditions and guarantees. In order to explore this complex issue, firstly, the current situation of micro-lecture application research of teachers at home and abroad is sorted out through literature review, and the trend of micro-lecture application research of secondary tourism teachers is analyzed;secondly,18 teachers and 308 students of tourism majors in several national key secondary vocational schools in Chongqing are surveyed through questionnaires and interviews, and a deeper understanding of the application of micro-lecture in current secondary vocational education tourism majors is obtained. Then,we analyzed the problems of micro-lecture in the teaching of tourism in secondary vocational education, and analyzed the reasons for the problems;finally,we proposed the optimization strategies to better serve the teaching of tourism in secondary vocational education. The above study finds that there are problems in the application of micro-lecture in secondary tourism: firstly, the application environment, the application conditions are insufficient, the support force of hardware and software facilities and equipment is not strong, the application atmosphere is not active, and teachers are not highly motivated;secondly, the application subject, the teachers’ information literacy is low,the information technology ability is lacking, the application mode of micro-lecture is single and lacks innovation;finally, the application object, the secondary micro-lecture resource platform is not perfect, and the development of micro-lecture resources is confusing. Finally,in terms of the application object, the secondary micro-lecture resource platform is not perfect, and the development of micro-lecture resources is confusing and cannot meet students’ needs. In view of the above problems, this study proposes the following optimization strategies: firstly, the state should steer the development direction and support the development of high-quality resources, and education authorities at all levels should clarify and implement the corresponding policies;secondly, schools should create conditions for the application of micro-lecture;thirdly,the application mode of secondary tourism majors based on micro-lecture should be innovated;finally, teachers should change their concepts, raise awareness, strengthen their abilities and skills, and work together through different ways to Promote the high absorption of micro-courses by secondary tourism teachers.
