With the rapid development of online learning,the quality of online discussions,as an important part of online learning,directly affects the quality of online learning.The learning process information implied by online discussion is an important basis for diagnosing students’ development process and level.However,due to the complexity of digitized text processing,the text data of the discussion process is limited by the limitations of manual analysis,and the information cannot be effectively mined and utilized.How to use technology to efficiently mine the connotation information,structure and law of text data is a problem worth exploring,and the research results have certain theoretical value and practical significance for the development of online learning and related research.In view of the above problems,this study summarizes the dimensions of online discussion analysis on the basis of combing the research status of existing online discussion analysis methods,and develops an online discussion quantitative analysis tool combined with text analysis technology to assist teachers to complete the quantitative analysis of large data and complex discussion texts.The paper is divided into six parts,the first chapter mainly expounds the research background,research objectives,research content,research methods,technical routes and research significance.Chapter 2 reviews the current status of "online discussion analysis","text analysis techniques" and "text analysis tools".Chapter 3 uses the interview method to conduct a needs analysis to determine which functions the tool should meet and implement the design of the online discussion analysis tool.Chapter 4 further elaborates on the functions of the software and the development techniques used.Chapter 5describes the specific process and results of using software in real teaching situations,and conducts application effect evaluation and evaluation of tool effectiveness.Chapter VI discusses conclusions and research deficiencies.This study proves that the software meets the characteristics of easy operation and high performance through the application of effect evaluation,and can effectively assist teachers in online discussion and quantitative analysis.However,in the development process,the degree of intelligent analysis of the text is not high,and qualitative results cannot be given,and the quantitative statistical analysis and presentation can only be completed in combination with the teacher’s setting,helping the teacher to provide data for decision-making,and it is expected that the follow-up research will continue to work hard in the intelligent analysis of the text.
