Hawkeye Challenges Technique In Volleyball A Study Of Impact Of Referees

In 2016,the Hawkeye Challenge technology was first applied to volleyball at the Olympic Games,and by intervening high-definition cameras at multiple points in the competition venue and using computer systems to process images,it solved the penalty dispute and promoted the fair development of the game.This paper uses the literature method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,case analysis and other methods to statistically analyze the Hawkeye challenge technology in the women’s volleyball competition of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and the volleyball event of the 14 th Games of the People’s Republic of China.It explores the role and impact of the eagle eye challenge technology in the referee process according to the current difficulties in referee decisions.Through the study,it is found that: first,the Hawkeye challenge technology has the effect of promoting the collaborative development of referees.Second,there is no significant difference in the influence of Hawkeye challenge technology on the recognition of interference judgment of different individual characteristic variables of referees,but there is a hidden danger that referees rely on this technology to make penalties.Third,there was no significant difference in the impact of Hawkeye challenge technology on the recognition of rules and auxiliary improvement of different individual characteristic variables of referees.Fourth,experienced referees have a lower subjective difficulty in judging the content of the Hawkeye challenge than relatively inexperienced referees in the refereeing process.In the choice of the timing of the referee’s self-challenge,their willingness to challenge themselves is,from the highest to the lowest: game point> key point(non-match point),when >there is a dispute between the two parties> when the referee’s team does not agree on the penalty.Fifth,when the referee believes that it is subjective in judgment,the direct effect of the emergence of the Hawkeye challenge maybe three,from low to high: "promoteinterfere-assist improvement" the judgment skills of the referee.However,when the referee believes that the content is subjectively tricky,under the influence of rule recognition and synergistic development as mediating variables,it will promote the referee’s attitude that the Hawkeye Challenge has an auxiliary improvement effect.From this,the following suggestions are: First,optimize the coordinated development of referees and Hawkeye Challenge technology-use Hawkeye Challenge technology to help improve the path of referees’ ability to make penalties.Second,pursue the benign interaction between science and technology and human beings in sports events,rationally view eagle eye technology,and prevent technology from excessively encroaching on physical activities’ embodied attributes.Third,improve the technology and rules of the Hawkeye Challenge to accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of the sports industry.
