With the comprehensive deepening of curriculum reform,the implementation of discipline core literacy has become the focus of the education circle,and the cultivation of students’ core literacy has become the main goal of school education.The overall grasp of teaching content and the promotion of curriculum content structure are one of the main ways to implement this goal.At present,there are some problems in the teaching design mode,such as the fragmentation of teaching content,which leads to the lack of overall understanding of students’ knowledge.The unit instructional design based on UbD adopts the teaching design concept of beginning with the end in mind,which can promote students’ overall understanding of mathematics subject,effectively improve the current teaching situation and develop students’ core quality of mathematics.This study combs and analyzes the research results of unit instructional design,UbD theory and plane analytical geometry teaching in senior high school,and establishes the theoretical basis;Using the methods of questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of plane analytical geometry teaching in senior high school;Combined with the problems found in the investigation and the unit instructional design framework based on UbD,this paper adopts the case analysis method,takes the plane analytic geometry unit as an example to carry out the unit instructional design and class instructional design,and takes the trajectory problem in plane analytic geometry as an example to carry out the teaching practice research.It is found that students are not interested in learning plane analytic geometry units,and lack integral and essential understanding of unit knowledge,and teachers lack practice although they have the awareness of unit teaching design.The results show that the unit instructional design procedure based on UbD is as follows: analyzing teaching elements,grasping teaching content and learning situation as a whole;Determine the expected learning objectives,clarify the big concepts and basic problems,overall grasp and refine the teaching objectives;Determine appropriate assessment evidence,design diverse assessment methods such as expressive tasks and students’ self-assessment;Design learning experiences and teaching.Through the analysis and summary,the teaching design strategy based on UbD is as follows: determine the basic problems of the unit and the main problems of the class,and determine the learning expectation;Dividing teaching objectives and increasing the effectiveness of evaluation evidence;To determine the evaluation evidence before the teaching process design,improve the pertinence of the teaching process design;Using WHERETO element to structure teaching activities to enhance the organization and integrity of teaching activities.
