Chinese traditional instrumental music has a profound historical origin.It is not only an important part of Chinese traditional music culture,but also the main way for school music education to practice Chinese excellent traditional culture education.Developing students’ core literacy is the primary link in the implementation of school music education at this stage to cultivate people with morality and educate people with beauty.Based on the core literacy,this article combines the core literacy of high school music proposed in 2017 and the "Compulsory Education Art Curriculum Standards(2022Edition)" promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2022,starts from four aspects:aesthetic perception,artistic expression,creative practice,and cultural understanding,and takes the traditional instrumental music appreciation content in the PEP version of junior high school music textbooks as the research object,and combined with the author’s teaching experience in the practice stage,the teaching practice including traditional instrumental music works is combed and integrated.On this basis,guided by the establishment of core literacy and realizing the teaching goal of educating people with aesthetics,through the three perspectives of traditional instrumental music culture,traditional music melody characteristics,and traditional musical instrument timbre connotation,the specific teaching implementation strategies are discussed,and suggestions are put forward.
