| Since the beginning of the new century, all regions have realized the importance of cultivating students’ comprehensive abilities, like communication and cooperation ability, pioneering and innovative spirit, and practical ability, etc. The traditional single classroom teaching no longer meets the development needs of teaching in the new era.Under the background of "cultivating people with morality",geography has condensed four core qualities,The high school geography curriculum aims to cultivate students’ core.Literacy regional cognition,as the way and ability to understand the earth’s thinking, has become the focus of training. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to try a variety of teaching forms for training.Among them, the project-based learning method has attracted much attention as a new learning method with the characteristics of practicality, authenticity and integration. It helps teachers to develop various curriculum resources and enrich the forms of geography teaching.Takes project-based learning to cultivate high school students’ regional cognition as the core, based on relevant domestic and foreign literature research and data processing, analyzes the research trends and directions on the basis of the existing results, clarifies the research significance, and determines the research path and method.Combined with the characteristics of geography and curriculum standards, the key concepts of this paper are defined. After horizontal comparison and in-depth development, the theoretical basis of the research is further sort-ed out,and the regional cognitive ability evaluation system is constructed on the basis of the performance and level of regional cognition.Through the combined analysis of the survey results of teachers and students and the sampling of test papers,it can be found that the development of project-based learning is hindered due to the constraints of class hours, teachers’ own ability and external support,At the same time, students’ regional cognitive ability generally at a lower level. Therefore,in the training strategy of students’ regional cognition,it is necessary to design project-based learning links first, includes 3 major links of project preparation, project implementation process and project evaluation, and 7 steps of specific implementation. And then propose some strategy for project-based learning to promote students’ regional cognitive ability,Including the use of technology integration,to determine the location of the region,to use multiple perspectives to understand the region,to summarize the characteristics of the region,to create similar situations for comparison,to analyze the relationship between regions,to enable students to construct logical thinking, and to explore the path of regional development.Based on the above research and strategies, and relying on the compulsory first-stage teaching,a project-based learning case of "Planning Anxi Tea Garden" was constructed.Through the educational experiment method, experimental classes and control classes were set up in the first year of high school.Learning application to promote the advancement of students’ regional cognitive ability in the process of project activity exploration and solution. Then, the effectiveness of the project-based learning-based high school students’ regional cognitive ability training was analyzed. The test results of the two group and the teacher evaluation scale constructed according to the Delphi method-Analytic Hierarchy Process were used to prove the effectiveness of project-based learning in cultivating regional cognitive. |
