| The new round of curriculum reform requires primary and secondary education to implement the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people,and to implement the cultivation of the core literacy of disciplines into the teaching practice of each subject.After the introduction of the new high school geography curriculum standards in 2018,the cultivation of the core competencies of geography has become the core task of high school geography teaching design and implementation.Geography classroom is the main position for cultivating students’ core literacy of geography.How to better implement the cultivation of high school students’ core literacy of geography has become a new challenge for high school geography teachers.Effectively improve the regional cognitive ability of high school students,enable students to understand the nature and internal logical relationship of geographical things,and form correct emotions,attitudes and values,which is highly consistent with the concept of in-depth teaching.According to the requirements of the new curriculum reform,this paper combines the content of the latest version of the high school geography curriculum standard,with the purpose of cultivating the regional cognitive ability of high school students,and using in-depth teaching as a means to conduct a complete study of the process.First,I checked the literature related to regional cognition,and had a certain understanding of the research status of regional cognition at home and abroad.The study found that many scholars have tried to improve students’ regional cognitive ability,and some of their training strategies can be referred to.In order to improve the strategy,combined with the in-depth teaching research boom that has emerged in recent years,the research is combined with in-depth teaching and regional cognitive ability training.In order to better cultivate the regional cognitive ability of high school students,this paper analyzes the regional cognitive ability,and refines it into regional positioning ability,regional element characteristic analysis ability,regional difference analysis ability,regional connection analysis ability and regional development planning ability.And referring to the level division of regional cognition in the 2017 edition of the general high school geography curriculum standard,each ability element is divided into four corresponding levels to prepare measurement tools for the following research.After investigating the status quo of the regional cognitive ability level of high school students and the current situation of regional cognitive ability training of high school geography teachers,it is found that the regional cognitive ability level of high school students has not reached the ideal level,among which regional difference analysis ability,regional connection analysis ability and The regional development planning ability is weak;only a few teachers carry out more in-depth teaching,and most teachers still focus on the traditional teaching form.The essence and significance are not conducive to the development of students’ core literacy.A series of in-depth teaching strategies for cultivating high school students’ regional cognitive ability were formulated in response to the problems found in the investigation of the current situation of regional cognitive ability training: 1.clarifying the elements of regional geography and integrating the knowledge logic of teaching content;2.creating regional situations to guide students Establish a "map in the brain";3.Use problem-based teaching to design problem chains to explore the nature of geographical phenomena;4.Make rational use of local resources and modern information technology to organize exploration activities;5.Diversify evaluation methods and evaluation subjects;6.Pay attention to classroom feedback,strengthen reflection guidance and teaching reflection.And design supporting teaching cases,put the teaching cases into practice,test the effectiveness of teaching strategies and teaching cases,and finally evaluate and reflect on teaching practice.Research shows that in-depth teaching can effectively improve the regional cognitive ability of high school students,and the students’ mastery of regional knowledge and ability to solve regional geographic problems have been improved detectably.The in-depth teaching strategies and teaching cases designed in this paper to cultivate high school students’ regional cognitive ability can provide some reference for educators. |
