Under the background of the new curriculum reform and quality education advocated by the education authorities in China,it has become an important subject worth studying to cultivate students’ mathematics core literacy in the process of junior high school mathematics teaching.Influenced by the inertia thinking of exam-oriented education,most mathematics teachers still adopt traditional teaching methods,with classroom explanation as the leading factor,and students passively accept cramming education,which leads to the ineffective improvement of teaching quality.The development of students’ mathematics core literacy can not be realized by repeated explanations,which requires teachers to create problem situations that are consistent with students’ original knowledge structure and real life experience.Therefore,how to create problem situations in daily teaching work is a problem that our educators must study deeply.Based on the purpose of cultivating students’ mathematics core literacy,it is of great significance and far-reaching significance to systematically study how to create problem situations in line with the cultivation of students’ mathematics core literacy in the current mathematics teaching process.This paper takes "the design of problem situation under the core literacy of mathematics" as the theme,and uses the methods of literature analysis,interview,video observation and case analysis as the research tools.Through the analysis of the concepts and theories related to the core literacy of mathematics and the design of problem situation,it provides a theoretical basis for the research.In order to understand the influence of the current situation of problem situation creation on the cultivation of students’ mathematics core literacy in the actual teaching process,this study selected four video clips of mathematics classroom,and selected some junior high school mathematics teachers and students in Siyang County of Suqian City to carry out a questionnaire survey,Through the analysis of teachers’ creation of problem situations in the classroom and their understanding of the relationship between mathematical core literacy and problem situations,we can understand teachers’ views on the design of problem situations and the current situation of teaching,and the problems and deficiencies in the cultivation of students’ mathematical core literacy.Through the analysis of specific cases of problem situation design,this paper points out the value of the problem situation created by teachers for the development of students’ mathematical core literacy,gives specific suggestions on improving the creation of problem situation,and puts forward the creation strategies of problem situation for the development of students’ mathematical core literacy.
