The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)points out that mathematics teaching should take the development of students’ core qualities as the foothold and reflect the educational value of mathematics curriculum.With the continuous progress of the society,the core literacy is paid more and more attention.Mathematical modeling literacy,as one of the core mathematical literacy necessary for students,is also the case.During the secondary school,cultivating students’ mathematical modeling literacy has also become an important teaching task.So,in questions of High School Entrance Mathematics Examination,as for how to examine the mathematical modeling literacy,what are the differences between them,according to these studies,how to adjust the compilation of mathematical modeling literacy in the middle school test questions,how to improve the teaching of secondary school,this paper will solve the above problems.Taking the mathematics exams of Beijing,Jiangxi,Hainan province from 2018 to 2022 as the research objects,this study intended to compare the mathematical modeling literacy of High School Entrance Mathematics Examination from the developed regions and underdeveloped areas,areas where education is relatively advanced and areas where education is relatively backward,explore similarities and differences of three different areas in the mathematics test mathematical modeling literacy.Besides,according to the results of the data,this study will propose suggestions on the examination of mathematical modeling literacy of evaluation system of High School Entrance Mathematics Examination,and opinions on how to adjust the actual teaching.The results are as follows:(1)From the feature of the test questions,the questions of High School Entrance Mathematics Examination from three places in the past five years are composed of multiple choice questions,filling-in questions and conciliation questions.Besides,the mathematics examination paper of Beijing has the largest number of questions and the lowest total score,which indicates that it is comprehensive for students.In addition,in the past five years,the examination paper of Hainan has experienced two changes,indicating that Hainan Roll has also tried to adjust in terms of educational evaluation.(2)In the examination of modeling tools,the three places are very intensive in the examination of functions.In the examination of literacy level,modeling literacy occupies the largest proportion,which indicates that the examination of mathematical modeling literacy in the three places mainly focuses on knowledge transfer,weakening the examination of knowledge understanding,as well as the examination of innovative mathematical model construction.(3)The background of mathematical modeling questions in the high school entrance examination in three places is mostly pure mathematics,while the real life situation and scientific situation appear less in the questions.This weakens the connection between mathematics and real life and fails to reflect the essence of mathematics coming from life to some extent.(4)The examination of mathematical modeling literacy in the papers of the High School Entrance Mathematics Examination in the three places is about 10%,and has a significant correlation,indicating that the examination of mathematical modeling in the three places is at the same level.(5)By comparing the difficulty of mathematical modeling questions in Beijing,Jiangxi and Hainan in the past five years,it is found that the difficulty of Hainan paper is the lowest,followed by Beijing paper,and Jiangxi paper is the highest.Based on the research results,in order to better reflect the core quality of mathematical modeling in the High School Entrance Examination,the author puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Suggestions for teachers: Teachers should attach importance to basic knowledge,fully consider students’ learning situation,give students sufficient time to think when dealing with the subject of modeling content,and pay attention to the modeling process while attaching importance to the results of problems.(2)Suggestions for students: learn to establish the connection between real life and mathematics,learn to extract mathematical problems from real mathematical situations,and fully think about which modules of knowledge can be used to solve such problems,so that to enhance their mathematical modeling literacy level and improve creativity.(3)Suggestions for the compilation of examination papers: the examination papers should enrich the context and background of mathematical modeling questions.Common life situations,interesting scientific situations,familiar social situations and rich mathematical culture can be integrated into the examination papers,so that students can realize the connection between mathematics and life and the value of mathematics.At the same time,a more perfect modeling literacy evaluation system should be established to promote each other and jointly promote the regional development of mathematical modeling literacy.
