Examinations are a way to check what students have learn and fill in gaps, but due to the incorrect and distorted perceptions of some parents, teachers and students about examinations, students develop negative emotions about examination anxiety. And as a negative emotion, test anxiety accompanies most students in the learning process, affecting their normal learning and life, and in serious cases,it may affect their healthy physical and mental development.Positive thoughts are purposeful and conscious attention and awareness of the present moment, and are closely related to individual emotions. In view of this, the aim of this study is to understand the current situation of test anxiety and positive thinking among senior students and the relationship between them, and on this basis,to investigate the effect of positive thinking training on the intervention of test anxiety among senior students. This study consists of two main parts.Study 1 was conducted with 417 senior students, using the Test Anxiety Inventory and the Five Factor Positive Thinking Inventory as research tools to investigate the current situation of positive thinking and test anxiety among senior students and their relationship. On the basis of Study 1,a total of 16 students from two homogeneous classes with high anxiety levels and who participated voluntarily were selected for Study 2.The effect of the intervention on the anxiety of the senior students was compared according to the data of the two groups. The specific findings were as follows.(1)Senior students in the region were at a moderate level of test anxiety, and the test anxiety level of female students was significantly higher than that of male students;the test anxiety level of only children was significantly higher than that of non-only children.(2)The positive thoughts of the first-year students in the region were at a moderate to low level, with no significant difference in gender and whether or not they were only children.(3)Positive thoughts were significantly negatively correlated with test anxiety, and the degree of prediction of positive thoughts on test anxiety was 18%.(4)The experimental group showed an improvement in the level of positive thinking and a decrease in the level of test anxiety, and the positive thinking training was effective in reducing the test anxiety level of senior students.
