Research On Social Work Involvement In Community Integration Of Elderly Groups Under The Perspective Of Community Construction

Since the completion of the construction tasks of poverty alleviation relocation around the world one after another,Guizhou Province has comprehensively promoted the establishment of street social work and volunteer service stations in the resettlement sites of poverty alleviation relocation in 2020.In the follow-up support work for the people relocated from poverty-prone areas,the elderly group as a special group in the community It is difficult to integrate into the community.Relocating the elderly from poverty-stricken areas is not only to move them in and stabilize them,but also to help them achieve a high quality of community life.In this context,in order to investigate the community integration of the elderly group,this paper takes the elderly group in Community D of Cengong County,Guizhou Province,as the research object.Through participant observation method and interview method,this paper provides an in-depth understanding of the living condition and integration status of the elderly group in Community D,and analyzes the community integration dilemma of the elderly group in terms of community life,social interaction and psychological level.Based on the perspective of community building,this study applies social support theory and collaborative governance theory,as well as group work and community work techniques,and mainly focuses on "people","culture" and "landscape".The study explores the community integration dilemma of elderly people relocated from poverty-stricken areas through three dimensions of community building and summarizes the analysis from the practice after the practical intervention.The study found that through the development of social groups for the elderly,senior associations and community activities for caring the elderly,the social interaction space of middle-aged and elderly people was expanded,their sense of community subject and community participation was cultivated,and their sense of community participation and belonging was enhanced to promote community integration.Through the development of hand-made bead and flower groups and the organization of a series of activities such as mountain song duets and ethnic festival literature,a harmonious and active community atmosphere was created,so that Relocated elderly groups feel the familiar atmosphere,retain nostalgia and enhance their sense of integration into the new community.Through the creation of a safe and civilized environment in the community and the style of the literary construction association,relocated elderly groups enhance their sense of belonging in community participation,and finally achieve community integration and the creation of a community environment for relocated elderly groups in poverty alleviation.And through summary and reflection,we further put forward suggestions to promote the community integration of the elderly groups,consolidate the results of relocation out of poverty,and enhance the participation of social work in the follow-up support work of poverty alleviation.
