It has been more than two years since the global outbreak of the new crown epidemic, and the overseas study path of Chinese students has experienced many twists and turns.Difficulties such as the risk of infection,sky-high air tickets, and closed borders cannot be avoided.Virus mutation, repeated epidemics, and political and economic risks in the post-epidemic era have also brought new challenges to cross-border education. However, the survey shows that since the epidemic, the number of Chinese students who insist studying abroad has continued to grow, and 91% of those who were originally scheduled to study abroad still insist on studying abroad. In the post-epidemic era when the epidemic has not yet fully survived, why do so many Chinese students still insist on studying abroad? What are the new trends in the choice of Chinese students, and how will they develop in the future? How can we help Chinese students break through and realize their study abroad goals and life value? This design focuses on the group of Chinese students going abroad under the epidemic.Through in-depth interviews and follow-up,the group portrait-like description restores the general difficulties faced by the international students and their mental journey from the outbreak of the epidemic to the post-epidemic era.Through thinking and summarizing,we will explore the changes and constants in Chinese students’ choices of studying abroad under the epidemic situation, provide some reference for Chinese students, encourage them to rationally plan their life paths based on their own actual conditions.
