Research On The Prevention Of Violation Risk In Crisis Intervention For The Elderly In Distress

With the professionalization of social work in China,social workers provide professional social work services for groups in need of help.However,there are more and more ethical dilemmas and risks in the practice of social work.These risks not only may cause loss to the rights and interests of the clients or the third parties,but also affect the construction and development of social workers and even the social work profession itself.The research on the ethical dilemma of social work in our country takes the ethics itself as the object of study,takes the method of philosophical speculation as the method,lacks the practical cases and the empirical analysis,and neglects the risk of violation associated with the ethical dilemma.Therefore,this study,based on the eight cases in my internship,discusses the social workers in the elderly crisis intervention and how to prevent the risk of non-compliance.The study found that the violation risks of social workers in crisis intervention for elderly people in difficult situations mainly include: prior intervention when receiving a case,unclear roles,and role conflicts,violation of the privacy and self-determination of the case owner during the intervention process,violation risks caused by insufficient professional skills,and violation risks in the personal safety protection of social workers.The evaluation results in the evaluation are influenced by government departments The evaluation results are vulnerable to the subjective influence of the evaluator and the risk of problems in the evaluation indicators.The author suggests that the case should be results-oriented,adhere to two-way freedom and initiative,adhere to the principle of minimum harm and maximum happiness,in the process of intervention,prior consultation with the case owner,social workers to protect their own safety in the service,social work institutions to do a good job as social workers’ incubators,the implementation of social work occupational liability insurance in the industry,and improve the evaluation standards,improve the professional evaluation staff,and so on,to prevent the risk of violation of social workers,and further promote the healthy development of social work.
