Conic curve sections are one of the most important and difficult contents in high school mathematics and are the core of analytic geometry in secondary school.They are the main means for learners to explore the properties of geometric shapes using ordinary equations and are a major component in developing students’ integration of mathematical and geometric thinking.This paper focuses on the test questions section of the high school conic curve section module,and studies the propositions of conic curve section exercises from the perspectives of content,characteristics,principles,and strategies,providing corresponding strategies.Firstly,the author integrates the information from the ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standards,the high school mathematics examination outline,and the basic literacy textbook for high school mathematics,and systematically studies the knowledge points covered in conic curve sections in the national examination papers of the past five years,as well as the related thinking methods and mathematical abilities involved.Secondly,by studying the math test papers on the topic of conic curves taken by Senior Three students in Class 2023 and Class 2026,and combining the results of interviews with teachers and students,two situations were found: high school students have a good grasp of basic conic curve section problems,but have poor mastery of advanced problems;students are satisfied with the test questions selected by teachers,but still offer suggestions for improvement.Based on the research results,the author summarizes and proposes four principles for the design of conic curve section test questions: the principle of targeting,the principle of moderation,the principle of hierarchy,and the principle of fairness,as well as three corresponding strategies: foundational strategies,specialized strategies,and optimized strategies.Furthermore,the author analyzes the proposition background and methods,and summarizes the types of conic curve section exercises and their corresponding problem-solving strategies in high school.Conic sections are of great importance in high school and carry significant weight in College Entrance Examination.This article aims to provide scientific and effective assistance to teaching research by studying the test questions in this area.
