The curriculum concept of the "Curriculum Standards for Moral and Rule of Law in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" points out that "it is necessary to integrate moral and rule of law education as a framework,organically integrate labor education,and scientifically design related theme content." This indicates that the integration of labor education into the teaching of "Moral and Rule of Law" in junior high school meets the needs of curriculum reform.The clarity of the elements of labor education literacy provides a clear direction for the implementation of labor courses and subject teaching.The establishment of labor courses is still in its early stages.Integrating labor education into the teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high school,collaborating with specialized labor courses to form a joint force,improving students’ labor literacy,and promoting the implementation of the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talent,has important practical significance.The paper first clarifies and interprets the concepts of labor and labor education,combined with the goals and requirements of labor literacy for junior high school students in the new curriculum standard(2022 version),sorts out the main content of junior high school labor education,and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of integrating labor education into junior high school "Morality and Rule of Law" teaching.Secondly,the current situation of integrating labor education into the teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school has been studied.The integration of labor education into junior high school "Morality and Rule of Law" has achieved certain results.However,there are still problems such as lack of teaching objectives,shallow integration of content,single teaching methods,and poor effectiveness.The reasons behind the analysis mainly include insufficient understanding and ability of teachers towards labor education,insufficient motivation for improving integrated teaching methods,and a lack of organic integration between classroom teaching and extracurricular practical activities.Finally,it is proposed to enhance teachers’ awareness of integration and clarify teaching objectives;Sort out the integration nodes and improve the teaching content;Optimize teaching methods;Expand the integration space and strengthen the strategy of multi-party linkage.
