Plant image is a kind of common image in ancient poetry.The plant image in ancient poetry connects literary works and natural life,expresses poets’ feelings,and embodies the fine Chinese traditional culture,constructing the cultural psychology of the Chinese nation to a certain extent.Therefore,plant image has rich teaching value and it is necessary to study the teaching strategies of plant images in ancient poetry in middle school Chinese textbooks.However,in the existing research there exists a research gap in the analysis of the teaching resources of plant image in the textbook,and the discussion of its specific teaching strategies needs to be further explored.The thesis explains the plant image in ancient poetry in the Chinese middle school textbooks complied by the Ministry of Education.It analyzes the selection and teaching value of plant image in the ancient poetry,proposes teaching strategies,and presents and interprets specific examples in the corresponding strategies.The thesis can be mainly divided into six sections:The introduction expounds the research background and significance of this paper,defines the concept of plant image,and sorts out the status quo of image teaching in ancient poetry and plant image teaching.In Chapter one,by sorting out ancient poetry with the plant images in the Chinese middle school textbooks complied by the Ministry of Education,the selection of the poems are analyzed.Also,the thesis explores teaching resources offered by the auxiliary reading system and practice system in the textbooks are discussed by starting from many aspects,including the unit lead,notes,illustrations and learning prompts.In Chapter two,based on specific examples of the plant image of ancient poetry in Chinese middle school textbooks complied by the Ministry of Education and the guidance of the curriculum standards,the value of teaching plant image is discussed.It is helpful to enhance students’ interest in Chinese and their ability to understand and appreciate,strength their connections with the nature,and enrich their aesthetic experience.Furthermore,it is of significance to carry forward traditional Chinese culture and implement the fundamental task of establishing virtue and educating people.In Chapter three,based on the analysis in the first three parts,this section proposes the teaching strategies of plant image in ancient poetry and provides some specific examples for reference.Firstly,focus on the plant imagery itself,guide students to experience the poetic realm through imagination and association,pay attention to the relationship between scenery and emotions in poetry,and grasp the poet’s emotions carried by the imagery;Secondly,based on the teaching resources provided by the textbooks and extracurricular supplements,carry out multi text reading teaching,and not limited to group poetry teaching,integrating the experience of plant imagery into modern literature reading and unit thematic activities;Moreover,pay attention to the interdisciplinary concept in the new curriculum standard,enrich students’ understanding of plant images from the perspective of phenology and botany,and finally,broaden the classroom boundaries and reduce the distance between students and plant images by introducing images,audio and organizing study tours.The fourth chapter presents a teaching case in each of the middle and high school stages,including the author’s individual teaching design and an analysis of the teaching case of group essays by famous teachers.The aim is to implement the teaching strategies proposed in the previous text into specific teaching designs and provide practical and effective references.The last part summarizes the teaching resources,the teaching value and the teaching strategy of the plant image in the textbook mentioned above,explains the deficiencies of this study,and puts forward the prospect of the development of this topic.
