| For teenagers, the closest interpersonal relationship includes parent-child relationship, peer relationship and teacher-student relationship. With the increase of time spent together, the peer relationship gradually provides a necessary background for teenagers’ social development, but the communication with deviant peers has become a risk factor for teenagers’ growth.Based on the group socialization theory and social learning theory, and based on the data of 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 of the China Education Panel Survey(CEPS),this study empirically analyzes 8684 samples through linear regression and KHB mediating effect model to investigate the factors, influences and mechanisms of adolescents’ communication with deviant partners. The main conclusions are as follows:First,parent-child relationship,teacher-student relationship and self-control ability are important factors that affect adolescent deviant peer communication.Specifically, teenagers with bad parent-child relationship, bad teacher-student relationship and low self-control are more inclined to associate with deviant peer communication.Secondly, deviant peer communication has a significant positive impact on adolescent deviant behavior and mental health, specifically, the deeper the degree of deviant peer communication, the more adolescent deviant behavior, the more psychological problems.Thirdly, there is no moderating effect between sex and whether they live with their parents or not, that is,there is no significant difference in the influence of deviant peer communication on deviant behavior and mental health of adolescents with different genders and living conditions.Fourthly, there is a mediating effect between deviant peer communication and adolescent deviant behavior and mental health, which is manifested in that the deviant peer communication increases adolescent deviant behavior and negative psychology by reducing self-control and peer acceptance. Finally, from the perspective of social work practice and social policy, this study aims to reduce adolescent deviant behavior and psychological problems by improving interpersonal relationships and enhancing self-control,and suggests that families, schools and society work together to create a good atmosphere for the healthy development of adolescents. |
