Bullying is a deliberate act of harm in which there is a serious imbalance of power between the perpetrator and the victim.Bullying has a particular kind of aggression,especially in school,where it is common.Moral disengagement is a cognitive mechanism that helps individuals to separate their actions from their inherent moral standards in the event of an immoral act.Bad peer communication refers to the bad peer communication between junior high school students and junior high school students or social peers.Studies have found that bad peer communication has a negative impact on junior high school students.Teenagers may acquire many bad values and moral cognitive tendencies in the communication with bad peer,resulting in moral detachment,and then lead to school bullying.This study is divided into 2 parts.Built on a comprehensive analysis of previous studies,this paper uses psychometrics and group counseling to investigate the relationship among deviant peer affiliation,bullying and moral disengagement,as well as the intervention effect of group counseling.In the first part,586 students from grade one to grade three of junior high school in Hebei Province were tested by using psychological measurement method,including Bad Peer Communication Questionnaire,Moral Disengagement Questionnaire and Bullying Behavior Questionnaire.SPSS statistical analysis software was used to analyze the data to explore the differences in demographic variables of deviant peer affiliation,moral disengagement and bullying behavior of junior high school students,and further investigate the correlation between these three variables and the mediating role of moral disengagement.In the second part,on the basis of the first part,30 students were randomly selected as the control group and the experimental group for 8 times of group psychological counseling for two months.The main conclusions of the study are as following:1.There are significant gender differences in bad peer communication,favorable comparison and bullying behavior among junior high school students.Boys scored significantly higher than girls.Meanwhile,there are significant differences in bad peer communication and moral disengagement among junior high school students,which increase with the increase in grades.2.There is a significant positive correlation among bad peer communication,moral detachment and bullying among junior high school students.3.Moral disengagement plays a partial mediating role between deviant peer affiliation and bullying.4.The results of group counseling showed that there was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the dimension of bullying.The result shows that group counseling is effective in intervening bullying behavior.
