Fibre Channel(FC)technology has excellent characteristics such as strong real-time,high reliability,high bandwidth and low latency,and is usually used as a real-time communication network in avionics systems;Ethernet technology is currently the most mature network technology and is widely used in the local bus of avionics systems.With the development of avionics systems,avionics equipment also tends to be perfect and complex.There are different traditional data buses and corresponding on-board equipment on the aircraft,and their network structures and connection interfaces are also different,which brings difficulties to the integration of on-board buses,so it is very important to fuse the data buses on the aircraft.This paper is based on a research project involving an airborne Fibre Channel acquisition recorder with an embedded chip+FPGA development architecture.Ethernet bus fusion forwarding circuit based on ZYNQ-7000 series chips.The main tasks are as follows:(1)In the early stage of design,research on the basics of Fibre Channel technology and Ethernet technology is carried out,and the basic definitions of FC protocol hierarchy,basic features and frame format are analyzed to provide theoretical support for the design of the bus converged forwarding circuit;(2)The PL side adopts a top-down design idea,dividing the whole circuit into a data processing module,a framing module and a DMA data transmission control module.The data processing module completes the receiving and caching of the two FC data,the framing control and the two-to-one output;the framing module completes the processing of the cut FC data;the DMA data transmission control module completes the address space allocation and the FC data transmission control.The software on the PS side is programmed with the Lw IP protocol stack development package embedded in Vivado SDK to encapsulate the framed FC data into Ethernet data and then send it to the Ethernet interface to realize the function of forwarding dual FC network data to Ethernet.(3)The software and hardware development platform is built to carry out software simulation and hardware testing on each major functional module and the overall system function,and the test results are analysed and explained.The validation results show that the bus fusion forwarding circuit is able to perform the functions of FC data reception,framing,merging,splitting,caching and encapsulating and sending.
