Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,system on chip(SoC)is more and more widely used.The reason is that So C can realize a variety of complex algorithms and improve the work efficiency of the system.At the same time,the emergence of multiple systems makes the data transmission between different systems become a problem that can not be ignored.Inter integrated circuit(IIC)is a kind of transmission bus specially used for data transmission between different devices in the chip.It has the advantages of high reliability and high transmission speed.This paper introduces a digital logic module of temperature control circuit in optical communication system based on 0.13μm BiCMOS process,which includes IIC control module and temperature control algorithm circuit.The external MCU can configure the value of the configuration register by communicating with the IIC control module,so as to realize the configuration of various parameters and working mode in the temperature control circuit.The function of IIC control module is to complete the data transmission and storage with MCU according to the communication protocol of IIC bus,and send the data into the temperature control algorithm circuit.It is a bridge between temperature control algorithm and MCU.It is mainly composed of IIC interface module,register module and other sub modules.The temperature control algorithm circuit mainly includes handshake circuit,algorithm flow module and delay module.Its function is to output the input data after being processed by the temperature control algorithm,so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting the temperature.The function of UART interface in this paper is to verify the functional correctness of temperature feedback control circuit.PC sends and receives data to IIC control module through UART interface.The clock frequency of IIC control module designed in this paper is 10MHz,which supports half duplex communication,and can read and write data to its register storage module through external MCU;The temperature control algorithm circuit can realize the functions of8-channel cyclic scanning and 4-channel cyclic output.The precision of the decimal divider of its internal algorithm is 16 bits;UART interface circuit supports full duplex communication and can automatically identify the start and end of UART work.Each frame transmits 8 bits of data and 1 stop bit.The layout area of the temperature control algorithm circuit is about 0.2500 mm~2and the power consumption is about 0.3000 m W;The layout area of UART interface circuit is about 0.0256mm~2 and the power consumption is about 0.0200m W.According to the design function and design index,this paper completes the front-end design and back-end physical implementation of the chip,including front-end RTL design,verification and back-end layout design and verification.The designed circuit realizes the required functions,and the simulation indexes of the circuit meet the expected requirements.
