| With the acceleration of population aging and urbanization in China, more and more elderly people follow their children into the city to take care of their grandchildren, becoming the so-called "accompanying elderly".Due to the influence of personal, family, social environment and other factors, many accompanying elderly people will have a more obvious sense of loneliness after entering the resettlement area, which is embodied in serious self denial, frequent passive solitude, boring life and so on.Therefore, how to solve their loneliness and make them enjoy their old age in the immigration area is of great significance to the stability of family and society and the aging of population. This study takes the accompanying elderly in H community,Shibei District,Qingdao as the research object, through the intervention of gardening group activities,in order to understand its effect in alleviating the loneliness of these elderly people.Firstly, the workers used the methods of literature, interview and questionnaire to analyze the performance and causes of loneliness of the elderly in the community. Then, based on the theory of horticultural therapy and activity theory, they set up a horticultural group for 8 elderly in the community. After carrying out seven group activities, the evaluation found that the gardening group was effective in alleviating the loneliness of the elderly, but there were also some limitations, such as the lack of planting experience of workers, the influence of seasons and plants on the activity effect, the lack of attention to the material and structural aspects, and the different intervention effects of different team members.Accordingly, the workers put forward corresponding improvement suggestions, including improving the professional quality of workers, innovating the form of group activities, setting up social action teams to supplement and promoting the effect of group activities in multiple ways, hoping to further promote the research in this field,so as to better solve the problem of loneliness of the accompanying elderly. |
