| Education is the foundation of the country and the cornerstone of national rejuvenation and social progress.The high-quality development of education in rural areas plays a non-negligible role in promoting educational equity and the progress of the country’s overall education undertaking.The construction of rural teachers has become an important force for promoting rural revitalization,building a modern socialist power,and helping the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In order to stabilize the contingent of teachers in rural areas and run education to the satisfaction of the people,the party and the state have continuously proposed reform policies to improve the level of rural teachers’ security in terms of title management,social status,income and treatment.However,due to the different demands of different groups of teachers,the large mobility of rural teachers,and the objective fact of unstable teachers is still a difficult problem in front of education administrators.In the new era,in order to help rural teachers go,retain and teach well,it is urgent to study the job satisfaction of rural teachers and reduce their tendency to leave.In this study,teachers from three rural primary schools in Sichuan Province were selected as the research objects,and through questionnaires and interviews,the current status of job satisfaction and turnover tendency were investigated,and the correlation and influencing factors between the two were analyzed,so as to provide management strategies for improving the job satisfaction of rural primary school teachers and reducing their turnover tendencies.This study is divided into four parts,the first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the background,purpose and significance of the research,the definition of related concepts,and the research methods and theoretical basis,and summarizes and reviews the relevant literature on teachers’ job satisfaction and turnover tendency at home and abroad.The second part investigates the basic information of the sample teachers’ gender、marital status、age、education、teaching experience and professional title,as well as the differences in job satisfaction and turnover tendency among different types of teachers through questionnaires and interviews,aiming to understand the current status of job satisfaction and turnover tendency of rural primary school teachers.The third part is based on the survey and interview,the collected data is sorted out,the correlation between job satisfaction and the tendency to leave is analyzed,and the factors affecting the tendency of rural primary school teachers to leave are deeply discussed from personal factors,school factors,parents and social factors.Based on the analysis of the influencing factors and related relationships between job satisfaction and turnover tendency,the fourth part proposes strategies to improve the job satisfaction of rural primary school teachers to reduce the turnover tendency from three aspects: teachers,schools,students’ parents and society. |
