A Study On The "desire Labor" Of Domestic Agent

This study by the author in J homemaking company a one-year field survey and participatory observation field,combining in the field during the semistructured interview and other text to collect data,using the theoretical framework of " aspirational labor ",This study is about how to make the homemakers desire,the content and characteristics of homemakers desire to work,and the selfdiscipline of homemakers.This paper tries to explain the process of the aspiration for hegemony and the consent of domestic brokers in the homemaking industry.The study found that when entering the homemaking company,homemaking brokers carry the original wealth aspirations,homemaking companies on this basis,a total of three aspects to strengthen and create brokers’ inner aspiration.First,the company uses differentiated commissions and bonus incentives,and creates a strong wealth making culture throughout the company to reinforce brokers’ native wealth aspirations.Second,the company strengthens the construction of corporate culture,through the construction of struggle wall to create professional and collective consciousness,improve customer trust;By beautifying the entrepreneurial experience of leaders and emphasizing the promotion channel of brokers,the brokers can recognize "overtime work" in ideology and internalize the struggle culture.The formation of wealth aspiration and struggle aspiration directly makes workers take the initiative to increase workload,extend working hours,and bring direct economic profits to the company.Third,companies will create “xiaozi”aspiration in a variety of ways,associating consumption with self-change and social status improvement,stimulating brokers’ aspiration for selfchange,increasing their consumption behavior,and forcing them to return to production.Behind the aspiration for beauty,the reality that domestic brokers face is heavy work tasks,rigid performance pressure,emotional consumption of multiple role transformation,and its labor process reflects the characteristics of high pressure and instability.Under the huge difference between aspiration and reality,brokers will first have conflicting psychology,and then rationalize the bleak reality,and achieve self-discipline in the process of horizontal comparison,vertical comparison,remodeling ability and appearance,thus completing the process of aspiration for hegemony and consent.Through the observation and analysis of brokers’ life experience,work experience,labor process and cognitive attitude,we can find that brokers are vivid laborers with diversity and complexity.In the end,this study is summarized and reflected.
