| Moral education is the fundamental task of the education,and discipline education is a crucial way to realize moral education.Chemistry,a considerable compulsory subject in senior high school,is responsible for the task of discipline education.Therefore,it is very significant to strive to achieve discipline education during compulsory courses classes.Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,revised in 2020)emphasizes the educational value and function of chemistry.Moreover,discipline education requires both theoretical guidance of curriculum standards and practical experience as well as integral case.In this study,the practice status of discipline education had been investigated,A series of problems in practice was solved,and a practical case from the perspective of practice was explored.The literature research,the questionnaire survey and the classroom observation were applied to study the current status of research and practice of chemical discipline education,and the optimization measures.At first,the present situation of practical research for chemical discipline education was untangled and the core concepts were explained.Secondly,compiled the study questionnaires,deeply recognized the students’ understanding of the value of chemistry discipline,their attitude towards chemistry education and their participation in education activities according to the survey results.The current situation and existing problems of chemistry discipline education were analyzed.Finally,the classroom observation of the highquality courses pointed to by the education of senior chemistry subjects was conducted,focusing on the positive education measures made by outstanding teachers in the aspects of situation creation,inquiry activity setting,teacher classroom organization and evaluation,etc.,aiming at the practice of discipline education,and putting forward optimization suggestions for the problems existing in the practice of discipline education,and carrying out teaching practice.Our study led to the following conclusions:1)Two primary problems occurred in practice.i)Students’ recognition on the value of chemistry was not high.ii)The discipline education function of chemical inquiry activities in the first grade was not complete.2)Aiming at solving above two problems,some revised suggestions were offered.i)It was a valid way to make students identification degree for value of chemistry higher by expanding situational materials,organizing experimental inquiry and using multi-dimensional evaluation methods.ii)The discipline education function was broadened from five dimensions,including chemistry culture,chemistry knowledge,chemistry skills,chemistry aesthetics and chemistry practice,and which promoted students’ all-round development.3)According to the optimization suggestions of discipline education practice,the teaching design and teaching practice of "iron and its compounds" were carried out.The evaluation of the educational effect of teaching showed that students’ recognition of chemical value had been improved and the native function of chemical inquiry activities had been expanded.Meanwhile,the practical teaching case of “Iron and its compounds” could be employed in the practicallevel enrichment of chemical discipline education by relevant researchers,which enriched the research content of chemistry discipline education at the practical level. |
