More and more evidence suggests that traditional Chinese health exercises have potential therapeutic effects on alleviating anxiety and depression. However, most studies have a small sample size and inconsistent research results. In order to obtain more accurate and high-quality clinical evidence, this study evaluates the methodological and reporting quality of the systematic evaluation of traditional Chinese health exercise therapy for anxiety and depression through systematic evaluation,re evaluation, and meta-analysis.This provides reference for improving the clinical efficacy, research quality, and systematic evaluation quality of traditional Chinese health exercise therapy for anxiety and depression. The purpose of this study is to further explore the specific efficacy of Chinese traditional health exercise on individual anxiety and depression, and to provide high-quality evidence for the promotion of Chinese traditional health exercise Exercise prescription for the treatment of anxiety and depression.Research methods:Study 1: Using the method of systematic evaluation and re evaluation, evaluate the methodological quality and reporting standards of the existing systematic evaluation/meta-analysis around the effects of traditional health exercise interventions on anxiety and depression.Firstly,a systematic evaluation/meta-analysis of the anti anxiety and depression effects of traditional Chinese health exercises was conducted by searching Chinese and English databases on the internet.Extract the following content from the final included literature, including: literature title, first author, year of publication, inclusion in clinical trials, intervention measures taken, bias risk assessment tools, and other basic information,AMSTAR and PRISMA methodological quality evaluation results, homogeneity, and publication bias risk.Based on the included literature, sort each dimension and obtain the assigned values.Draw a radar chart in Excel 2010 to obtain comparative results.Study 2: Using the method of meta-analysis,the randomized control experiment(RCT)of traditional Chinese health exercise intervention on individual anxiety and depression was integrated to quantitatively summarize the effectiveness. The advantage of this approach is to increase the credibility of research conclusions by expanding the sample size of the study.During the writing process, appropriate supplements and modifications should be made to the methodological quality issues and deficiencies or unreasonable items in the report specifications that arose in Study1.First,search the electronic source database, including CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,CBM,PUBMED,The Cochran Library,EMBASE and other Chinese and English databases, and screen out the randomized Scientific control(RCTs)that meet the inclusion criteria.Subsequently, the quality of the included randomized Scientific control was evaluated with the quality evaluation form of PEDro(Physio thermopy Evidence Database). Finally,SPSS was used for data collection, and Stata16.1 was used for statistical processing of the data. The main research results are as follows:Study 1: A total of 6 systematic evaluation and meta-analysis studies on the intervention effects of traditional Chinese health exercises on individual anxiety and depression emotions were included in this literature quality evaluation. The included studies were mainly RCT type studies, and their heterogeneity was tested.However,2studies did not undergo publication bias testing. In this systematic evaluation and re evaluation, the methodological quality is at a low to medium level, and the literature report scores are concentrated in the medium to high quality scores. The results of the combination of multiple evaluations and radar maps showed that among the six included articles, except for a single article with higher evidence strength and credibility, the comprehensive quality of the remaining five articles had varying degrees of shortcomings, mainly concentrated in the year of publication,AMSTAR,and PRISMA scores.Study 2:(1)A total of 33 RCTs were included, with a sample size of 2593 participants, mainly involving two types of traditional Chinese health exercises(Taijiquan and Qigong).Meta analysis results showed that compared with the control group, the Chinese traditional health care exercise had a significant effect on relieving individual anxiety(SMD=-0.52,95% CI:-0.69~-0.34,P<0.0001),reaching a moderate effect, but there was heterogeneity. The subgroup analysis found that during the traditional Chinese health maintenance exercise, the exercise cycle was 8-12 weeks, the weekly exercise was more than 3 times, and the intervention effect was better when the time of each exercise was 30-50 minutes. At the same time, when the control group is a western exercise group, the intervention effect of the Chinese traditional health exercise group is also significant compared with the western traditional exercise group, and there is a significant statistical difference(SMD:-0.45,95% CI: 0.85,-0.04,P<0.05).The effect of Chinese traditional health exercise on relieving depression is also significant(SMD=-0.63,95% CI:-0.87~-0.39,P<0.0001),but there is also heterogeneity. The subgroup analysis found that the intervention effect was better when the Chinese traditional health maintenance exercise lasted for more than 12 weeks, exercised 3-5 times a week, and each exercise lasted at least 55 minutes. At the same time,it was found that those over 60 years old had a better effect on relieving depression after Chinese traditional health maintenance exercise(SMD:-0.69,95%CI:-1.11,-0.27,P<0.0001).Research conclusion:(1)A re-evaluation study of the system evaluation revealed that the overall quality of the included literature was not high, and there were gaps in key elements affecting the evaluation method of the system, which did not strictly adhere to reporting standards, thus affecting the strength and credibility of research findings. It is recommended to publish updated systematic evaluations and incorporate as many types of traditional Chinese health preserving sports as possible to achieve a comprehensive evaluation.(2)Meta analysis results show that Traditional Chinese health exercises can effectively alleviate individual anxiety and depression, and have a certain level of safety, which suggests that Chinese traditional health exercise can be used as a complementary exercise to alleviate individual anxiety and depression. However, there are still significant methodological limitations in clinical trials of traditional Chinese health exercise interventions for anxiety and depression. Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the development of high-quality research in the future and update the conclusions of this systematic evaluation in a timely manner.
