| Learning quality is of great significance to children’s school preparation and future studies.Especially for large-class children,they are in a critical period of early childhood connection,and it is particularly important to cultivate their learning quality.As one of the people closest to young children,the degree and level of father’s participation affect the quality of children’s learning,and family intimacy also affects the parent-child relationship between fathers and children,which in turn affects the participation of fathers and the quality of children’s learning.Therefore,this study mainly uses the questionnaire method to select the fathers of many public kindergartens in Guangzhou as the object for distributing questionnaires,and taked back 733 valid questionnaires.It investigates the level of learning quality development,father’s’ s participation and family intimacy of large-class children,and explores the impact of father’participation on the learning quality of children in large classes and family intimacy.It can be intermediated.The study found that:(1)The overall learning quality and scores of children in large classes are at the middle and upper level,but the development of each dimension is uneven.The average value is from high to low: curiosity and interest,creation and invention,persistence and attention,reflection and interpretation,and initiative.From the perspective of demographic variables,there are significant differences in the learning quality of children in large classes in terms of father’s education and monthly income,academic qualifications,and daily time to accompany their children.There is no significant difference in the learning quality of large-class children in terms of the gender and number of children.(2)The overall and dimensions of father’s participation are at an upper-middle level,and its average is from high to low: indirect support,academic encouragement,rule constraints,interactive supervision,and emotional expression.The number of children only shows differences in indirect support and academic encouragement.Fathers with two children have better participation than fathers with one child.There are significant differences in the total score of father’s participation and rule constraints,indirect support and academic encouragement every day.There are no significant differences in the overall and dimensions of father’s participation in the child’s gender,father’s occupation,education,and father’s monthly income.(3)The overall and dimensions of family intimacy are at an upper-middle level,there are significant differences in the family intimacy of large-class children in the number of young children,the father’s monthly income and the father’s daily time to accompany children.Among them,the family intimacy of a father with a monthly income of 50-50,000 yuan is higher than that of less than within 5,000 yuan.There is no significant difference in the family intimacy of large-class children in terms of the sex of young children.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between the level of father’s participation and the learning quality of children in large classes;there is a significant positive correlation between family intimacy and learning quality;and there is a significant positive correlation between father’ participation and family intimacy.(5)Father’s participation can positively predict the learning quality of large-class children,or indirectly predict the learning quality through family intimacy.Family intimacy plays a part of the intermediary role in father’s participation and learning quality,accounting for 26.95% of the total effect.Based on the research conclusions,this study focuses on putting forward relevant suggestions from the perspective of fathers: improving the quality of father’ participation and consolidating the quality of children’s learning;paying attention to family intimacy and working together to promote the quality of learning. |
