A Study On The Narrative Style Of The Text Of "World Football

In the 1990 s,with the reform of the economic system,the cause of sports had went through prosperous development.As the dominating vector of physical education,sporting event with its flourishing development mobilizes sports programme to abandon the simplex model and pursue flexibility.Football match as one of the matches of the highest popularity has attracted numerous professional personnel and amateurs in sports.Total soccer is a sports TV program founded by CCTV to meet the information needs of football lovers for international football events.It has long maintaining high ratings in favored by the majority of football fans.In this essay,the narrative text in Total Soccer is taken as the research object with the pitching-in from the aspect of the narrative style and the support of theories of Narratology and Semiotics while the literary style is specific to and the textual problems of narrative text in football programme are in discussion.Combined with textual analysis,case study analysis and other research methods,the narrative text of the Total Soccer programme is interpreted in detail to form a systematic understanding of its narrative style,and to explore the value system of the Total Soccer programme has multiple value tendencies.The study takes the special treatment of the text as the thread and finds that the more prominent narrative styles of the Total Soccer programme are martial arts narrative style,humorous narrative style and poetic narrative style,and each narrative style has its own different textual characteristics.As the programme itself is diverse,its narrative texts also have multiple characteristics,so the programme has multiple value tendencies.The programme takes the presentation and celebration of mainstream social values as its value system,realises the excavation and reproduction of Chinese traditional values,and provides a unique interpretation of football texts with Chinese characteristics,presenting a unique local football culture.The text of Total Soccer highlights the reproduction of traditional Chinese martial arts culture,traditional Chinese humour,i.e.comic culture,and traditional Chinese poetry culture,in which the text of martial arts narration style reflects the combination of football culture and traditional Chinese martial arts culture;the text of humour narration style reflects the combination of football culture and traditional Chinese comic culture;the text of poetry narration style reflects the combination of football culture and traditional Chinese poetry culture.The poetic narrative style is a combination of football culture and traditional Chinese poetry.
