| School physical education class as the main way to improve the physical health of young people,and the current situation of physical education class in China is hardly satisfactory.Along with the progress of society,the reform of elementary school physical education is also being revised.The traditional physical education class has one-sided teaching content,boring teaching methods,the pursuit of specialization in movement skills,and the standardization and adultization of equipment,which are obviously no longer compatible with the new era of elementary school physical education class.The IAAF Junior Athletics Program(hereinafter referred to as Junior Athletics),as a new form of sports,is completed with the most basic forms of human movement of walking,running,jumping and throwing,and is quite popular among primary school students,not only to improve the teaching efficiency of the classroom,increase students’ interest in participating in sports activities,improve physical fitness and cultivate students’ tenacious quality of will.This paper explores the new model of physical education classroom,integrates children’s athletics into school physical education,implements "teaching,practicing and competing",makes students really love athletics,fundamentally promotes the development and implementation of physical education classes in elementary school in Tianjin,and better achieves the purpose of cultivating core literacy.In this paper,through the methods of literature,interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,the current situation of children’s athletics in six elementary school in Tianjin was studied,problems were identified and development countermeasures were proposed to provide a reference basis for the better development of elementary school physical education classes in the city,and the following results were obtained:(1)Through the investigation of the implementation of the new curriculum standards in six primary schools in Tianjin,most teachers hold a favorable attitude towards the new curriculum standards.In the face of the introduction of the new curriculum standards,most teachers integrate the new ideas into the teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching methods and teaching evaluation for application,but some teachers do not know enough about the new curriculum standards.Children’s track and field is consistent with the teaching content of the new curriculum standard,and the future development of children’s track and field is compatible with the school physical education.As a teaching method,it is reasonable to apply it to primary school physical education.It is feasible in the reform of school physical education,and is more conducive to the healthy long-term development of school physical education.(2)The school’s faculty is relatively weak,and the teachers’ specialties and academic qualifications basically meet the requirements.However,the number of physical education teachers is not enough,and the distribution of male and female physical education teachers is unbalanced.The majority of young teachers lack rich teaching experience,participate in children’s track and field training less often,and lack of understanding of the value of children’s track and field and mutual communication and learning among teachers.(3)In the physical education teaching of the six primary schools in Tianjin,most physical education teachers do not carry out comprehensive teaching content,competition and situational teaching in teaching methods are rarely widely used,the teaching organization form is single,and they fail to teach students in accordance with their aptitude.The number of competitions in the physical education class is few,teaching evaluation focuses on results,lack of diversification,and the curriculum form is mainly traditional teaching.Teachers lack a certain ability of innovation,children’s track and field in physical education classes less times and carry out a serious shortage of class hours.(4)Children’s track and field in physical education classes of six primary schools in Tianjin meets the needs of students’ athletic ability,healthy behavior and sports morality,promotes students to master basic skills,stimulates sports interest,and cultivates the value of core physical literacy.In the face of bright colors,novel equipment,high safety factor,rich content of the project,attract the attention of students,generate the heart of the motivation,stimulate the interest in athletics,improve the participation effect of students.But most students do not understand the knowledge,use and value of children’s track and field.(5)The basic guarantee of physical education in the six primary schools in Tianjin is not ideal,and the number of students is large and the space is limited;Serious shortage of equipment,low use rate of teachers;The number of sports textbooks is small,which is purchased separately and costs more.Insufficient investment in the project,can not achieve uniform distribution;School leaders and teachers gradually realize the importance of children’s track and field,but there are few teaching and research activities organized for teachers,teachers use this project in physical education teaching content is less,and it has not been really carried out and popularized in schools.A small number of schools have not held children’s track and field games,the utilization rate of children’s track and field equipment is low.(6)Countermeasures to promote the development of children’s athletics in Tianjin: build a four-in-one joint mechanism,with the government,enterprises,universities and elementary school to establish a platform to promote the full implementation of children’s athletics in Tianjin’s school physical education classes;establish a joint mechanism to jointly create a standardized,systematic and stable organizational structure and institutional system.Implementation of the four-in-one model: to establish a sound guarantee mechanism;to improve the strength of teachers;to increase the rational use of equipment and teaching materials;to increase financial investment;to integrate the teaching of "learning,practice,competition and evaluation";and to organize multiple forms of competition activities to create a good sports atmosphere. |
