| HINOC(High performance Network Over Coax)network is an innovative technology that is to deal with the access of fiber-optic network to home network under the background of ātriple play convergenceā,which is expected to meet the needs of the next generation of broadcast networks.HINOC is a new proprietary Eo C(Ethernet over Coax)access technologies,which can make full use of the existing wired TV coaxial cable distribution network resources without rewiring.HINOC has the characteristics of high access rate,wide channel coverage and Qo S guaranteed requirements for different traffics.From the perspective of protocol engineering,this paper study the simulation and validation on HINOC network MAC(Media Access Control)layer signaling protocol.First of all,based on HINOC MAC signaling protocol network,MAC signaling protocol finite state machine(FSM,Finite State Machine)model is designed according to description of the form of the protocol technical theory.Then,the performance evaluation of protocol is implemented on the protocol simulation software IBM Rational SDL and TTCN Suite.Considering the characteristics of the HINOC signaling protocol,we can design and simulate MAC layer signaling protocol in system,module and process-level by using Specification and Description Language.Finally,on the basis of protocolās SDL system,we verify the HINOC MAC layer signaling protocol according to the common protocol verification techniques and patterns by using verification tool SDL-Explorer in IBM Rational SDL and TTCN Suite development platform.We improve the integrity and reliability of the protocol specification by simulating and verifying the proposed protocol. |
