Virtual Communication Of Bullet Chat Video Users From The Perpective Of Interaction Ritua

Nowadays,with the rapid development of science and technology,the virtual space of the Internet continues to expand,people’s social behaviors are no longer confined to offline.As a new way of online video comment,bullet chat has gradually become one of the important ways for Internet users to communicate online.With the introduction and use of bullet chat technology by various video websites,bullet chat video,a new social interaction platform,is gradually known to people,and virtual communication of bullet chat has become a popular way of social communication.Therefore,the author will conduct research on the virtual communication of video users,and explore the operating mechanism and realistic significance of virtual communication of video users.Based on Collins’ interaction ritual chains,this thesis takes Bilibili bullet-chat video website(hereinafter referred to as "STATION B")as the analysis case and sampling platform,selects the bullet-chat content in Station B as the research sample,and uses content analysis method and participatory observation to obtain the research sample information.Combined with the in-depth interview method,the interaction and virtual communication behaviors between users in the bullet chat video from the perspective of interaction ritual are explored,the problems existing in the virtual communication of bullet chat are analyzed and found,and feasible suggestions are put forward for the healthy development of the virtual communication of bullet chat.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter summarizes the development status of virtual communication of "Bilibili" bullet chat video users,combs the birth background and development history of "Bilibili" bullet chat video website,and discusses the universality and typicality of virtual communication of "Bilibili" bullet chat video website.From the perspective of interaction ritual,the second chapter analyzes the interaction ritual process of virtual communication of users of "Bilibili" bullet chat video through content analysis,combining with the attributes of "Bilibili" bullet chat video,including the elements and ritual results of interaction ritual of "bilibili" bullet chat video.The third chapter analyzes the formation mechanism of users’ virtual communication behavior in bullet chat video on the basis of in-depth interviews,and explores the behavioral motivation and types of users’ virtual communication in bullet chat video.The fourth chapter is based on the analysis of the limitations of bullet chat virtual communication and analyzes the reasons,and then reflects on the current status of virtual communication in view of the problems,and puts forward reasonable solutions and practical suggestions.Studies have found that bullet chat video can create a virtual sense of time and space togetherness,so that users can participate in the interaction without being physically present.By sending bullet chat,users can share emotions and interact,thus gaining group identity and sense of belonging.However,at the same time,there are also problems such as weak relationship connection and lack of management.Therefore,this thesis puts forward some countermeasures,such as establishing formal social platform,improving interactive mechanism of missile screen and enhancing users’ media literacy,to lead the sustainable and healthy development of virtual communication of bullet chat.
