With the rapid development of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence,blockchain,cloud computing and big data,the digital economy has become an important manifestation of national competitiveness,and Digital transformation has become an important issue facing all walks of life.Through Digital transformation,enterprises in the logistics industry can improve quality and income,reduce costs and increase efficiency,improve industry competitiveness,and integrate into the "double cycle" development pattern.Therefore,the research on Digital transformation of the logistics industry and the empirical framework of Digital transformation of the logistics industry have important guiding significance for accelerating the pace of Digital transformation of the logistics industry.This paper adopts the case study method,selects Shunfeng Holdings,a leading enterprise in the logistics industry,as the case study object,and studies the motivation,path and performance of the logistics industry’s digitalization in order to provide experience for the logistics industry’s Digital transformation.First of all,this paper analyzes the motivation of SF Holdings’ Digital transformation,which is mainly divided into internal and external reasons.Through constructing PEST model,this paper analyzes the external causes of Shunfeng Holding’s Digital transformation from four aspects: politics,economy,society and technology.By analyzing the needs of transformation and upgrading of SF Holdings and responding to industrial competition,the internal causes of Digital transformation of SF Holdings are analyzed.Secondly,this paper constructs the path of Shunfeng Holding’s Digital transformation.The specific path of Shunfeng Holding’s Digital transformation is mainly to build a "three in one" smart logistics network,build a digital and intelligent logistics supply chain,establish one-stop comprehensive logistics services,and integrate and upgrade internal personnel.Through the construction of four paths,SF Holdings has realized the rapid development of Digital transformation.Finally,selected the relevant data from 2016 to 2021,and used the balanced scorecard to evaluate the Digital transformation of SF Holdings from the learning and growth dimensions,internal process dimensions,customer dimensions and financial dimensions.Through the research on the motivation,path and performance of SF Holdings’ Digital transformation,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)SF Holdings’ Digital transformation is mainly affected by the industry trend and its own demand for promoting the construction of the modern system of the logistics industry,both of which jointly promote the process of SF Holdings’ Digital transformation;(2)The path of Shunfeng Holding’s Digital transformation is to build a comprehensive digital logistics system and comprehensively promote the formation of a unique digital logistics supply chain system;(3)The Digital transformation of SF Holdings has comprehensively improved the performance of the enterprise and enhanced the competitiveness of the company in the logistics industry.Through the research on Digital transformation of SF Holdings,this paper draws lessons from the experience of Digital transformation development of other enterprises in the logistics industry:(1)conform to the trend of the times,use favorable policies and technology empowerment to promote Digital transformation,promote business diversification,and enhance enterprise competitiveness;(2)Use multi-channel to build a platform for Digital transformation,comprehensively integrate learning and growth dimensions,internal process dimensions,customer dimensions and financial dimensions,build a modern logistics system,and support the strategy of manufacturing power.The research in this paper enriches the research on Digital transformation of the logistics industry to a certain extent,and provides some experience for Digital transformation of the logistics industry.
