In China’s rural areas, the aging population, the large-scale outflow of young and middle-aged labor force, the weakening influence of traditional culture and other factors have a huge impact on the traditional family elderly care, and the elderly care service provided by institutional elderly care can not only meet the demand of elderly care service, but also be difficult to be preferred by many rural residents. Therefore, the development of mutual elderly care service is of great significance to make up the gap between supply and demand of elderly care service in rural areas. However,in the process of the transformation from the ritual society to the legal society, the spontaneous practice of mutual support for the aged has encountered certain difficulties. Therefore, only with the strong promotion of the government, the mutual support service for the aged can be better embedded in the rural social network, and a new type of rural mutual support service field with endogenous dynamic system can promote the leapfrog development of rural mutual support service for the aged. The construction of rural mutual elderly care service field is inseparable from three key elements:habitus, capital and practice.According to Bourdieu’s practical theoretical formula:[(habitus)(capital)]+field=practice, this paper can think that the practice behavior of rural mutual support for the aged is influenced by the habitus and capital of actors in the field of rural mutual support for the aged. Therefore, this paper establishes a binary logit regression model to analyze the influence of habitus and capital on rural residents’ care behavior. The empirical results show that habitus and capital(economic capital and social capital)have a positive and significant impact on the daily care behavior of rural residents. The practice of rural mutual elderly care service has been carried out for decades, and the field configuration of rural mutual elderly care service has initially formed. The sign of the formation of rural mutual support for the aged service field is the formulation of internal rules and the formation of its own action logic. The field takes mutual help and common elderly care, realizing the intergenerational support of mutual help and mutual support for the aged as the internal rules, and mutual help and mutual benefit as the action logic. With the construction of fields, each field has a tendency of autonomy. The sustainable development of the rural mutual elderly care service field is inseparable from field autonomy. The field autonomy of rural mutual elderly care service has its inherent requirements, including management autonomy, system autonomy and participant autonomy. However, the development of any field will inevitably be affected by other fields and face some obstacles of autonomy. The barrihe fers to tield autonomy of rural mutual elderly care service include management barriers, system supply barriers and public participation barriers. The field of rural mutual elderly care service needs to overcome obstacles and explore the path of field autonomy.First of all,the construction of new rural mutual elderly care service field,on the basis of balanced management limits, stimulate the endogenous power of rural mutual elderly care service field, reshape habitus, make good use of capital to form a joint force.Secondly,we should strengthen the endogenous system of rural mutual elderly care service field, condense the social capital in the social network, form the impetus of system generation, enhance the institutional commitment of rural residents to mutual elderly care service, and encourage rural residents to carry out effective mutual supervision. Finally, expand the field participation of rural mutual elderly care service, create a good environment to attract rural residents, and promote multi-agent participation in governance.
