According to the statistical data of 2020,the income of rural residents in Heyuan City is 17313 yuan,ranking the third lowest among the 21 prefectures and cities in Guangdong Province.The absolute difference of per capita income between urban and rural residents has expanded from 6462 yuan in 2011 to 10705 yuan in 2020.The income of rural residents in Heyuan City has problems such as relatively low overall level and large income gap between urban and rural areas.The low income of rural residents will have a direct impact Therefore,it is very important and urgent to improve the income growth of rural residents to a reasonable level,so the research of this paper is of great significance.This paper mainly analyzes from the following aspects: firstly,The research background and significance are introduced,summarizes the different research results of domestic and foreign scholars on Farmers’ income,and summarizes the main contents,methods,key and difficult points of this paper.Define the basic concepts of the research and clarify the theoretical basis.Secondly,this paper analyzes the dynamic changes and current situation of rural residents’ income in Heyuan City,divides the rural residents’ income from 1987 to 2020 years into four development stages,summarizes the development trend and reasons of rural residents’ income in each stage,It is found that the income level of rural residents in Heyuan city is low and the development among counties is unbalanced.The main problem is that the driving effect of wage income and business net income on rural residents’ income is weakened,and the contribution rate of property income to rural residents’ income is low.Third,a comprehensive analysis of the reasons for the low income of rural residents in Heyuan City is mainly affected by human capital,the lagging development of the three industries,the low urbanization rate and the gradual weakening of the role of policy.Finally,it puts forward relevant countermeasures for increasing the income of rural residents in Heyuan City: first,develop rural education,second,vigorously develop the primary industry;Third,develop rural tourism;Fourth,speed up the construction of urbanization;Fifth,develop pillar industries with the help of Rural Revitalization.
