| In this thesis,considering that the demand rate is affected by the current inventory level,we mainly study the inventory control problem of deteriorating items.The objective of this problem is to minimize the total cost per unit time of the inventory system and to give the optimal order quantity.Firstly,assuming that shortage of items are allowed and the demand rate is affected by the current inventory level,a single warehouse inventory control model with trapezoidal demand rate is established for fashionable and seasonal deteriorating items.Secondly,we consider fashionable and seasonal deteriorating items which can be stored either in own warehouse or in both the own and the leased warehouse.Assuming that shortage of items are allowed and the demand rate is affected by the current inventory level,we establish a two-warehouse inventory control model with trapezoidal demand rate.Under certain conditions,the two-warehouse inventory control model contains the single warehouse inventory control model.Finally,we carry out sensitivity analysis on the main parameters of the single warehouse inventory control model and the two-warehouse inventory control model.Based on the analysis,suggestions on inventory management are given. |
