| With the continuous advancement of China’s modernization process,the state continues to increase investment in major projects.A number of major projects,such as the Hong KongZhuhai-Macao Bridge and Beijing Daxing International Airport,have achieved innovation miracles based on engineering practice,and become an important platform for China’s technological innovation and the main battlefield for the national innovation system.However,due to the characteristics of cross-field,cross-discipline and cross-organization,innovation cooperation based on major projects has become an effective mode to solve the problems of major project innovation,and the analysis of major project innovation from the perspective of network has become an effective way to clarify the innovation cooperation relationship and raise the innovation level.This study mainly uses Social Network Analysis to explore the structural characteristics,evolvement rule and clustering distribution of major project innovation network based on multiple cases from the perspectives of innovation subjects and innovation regions.On the basis of collecting Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize projects to form the major projects case base,the social network analysis tool is used to construct the network matrix and visualize network,and a series of whole network indexes and ego network indexes are selected to analyze the structural characteristics of the innovation network.Furthermore,the network in the research period is divided into "11th Five-Year plan","12th Five-year Plan" and"13th Five-Year Plan",analyzing the evolvement of the network structure over time.It is found that the innovation subjects network is a low-density network with obvious small-world characteristics,and each stage network has its own innovation core.Innovation regions network is a high-density network with frequent interactions.The innovation level of each region varies greatly,and some regions’ innovation advantages become more obvious with the evolvement.In order to further clarify the position of innovation subjects and innovation regions in network,combined with the multidimensional network indexes,using DBSCAN clustering algorithm to comprehend the overall situation of individual node.It is found that innovation subjects are divided into three categories:the marginal,the community and the order parameters,and innovation regions are roughly linear distribution in three dimensional index space.The above analysis is based on the results of network indexes,for 61 high-frequency participants of innovation network,the network indexes are taken as explanatory variables,and innovation ability is taken as explained variables.The correlation is verified by QAP analysis method.The results show that the Structural Holes has the best interpretation effect on innovation ability,followed by Closeness Centrality,Degree Centrality,and Eigenvector Centrality.On this basis,combined with engineering practice,the internal influence logic of network index on innovation ability is analyzed in detail.This paper reflects the actual innovation situation of major projects in China,reveals the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and evolvement rules of major projects innovation network,clarifies the clustering distribution of innovation network under multidimensional network index system,enriches the explanatory dimension of innovation ability,and verifies the correlation between network status and actual innovation ability.Relevant conclusions provide a reasonable perspective for the relevant subjects of major projects innovation,help them to recognize their position and adopt appropriate innovation strategies.The research is of great practical significance for improving the overall innovation level of major project field. |
