| The status of the industrial structure reflects the level of economic development of a country or a region and affects its economic and social development potential.Some scholars regard industrial structure as the basis for the future economic development of a country or a region,which also shows the importance of industrial structure to social and economic development.The dynamic adjustment and optimization of the industrial structure are recognized by the economics circle as important measures to promote economic development.Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is an autonomous region with the smallest area but cannot be ignored in China.On the one hand,it is in the northwest inland area and is affected by factors such as nature,history,ethnicity,and religion,its industrial foundation is relatively weak.On the other hand,as one of the five major ethnic autonomous regions,the evolution of Ningxia’s industrial structure is affected by many factors.Combining with the current strategic direction of the country and focusing on the actual situation of ethnic areas,the specific countermeasures proposed are an era subject to promote the steady development of Ningxia.Based on the relevant theoretical and empirical analysis methods of industrial structure,combined with the time-series data of Ningxia’s industrial structure evolution,this thesis adopts qualitative and quantitative research methods to make a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of Ningxia’s industrial structure and industrial competitiveness.Through the specific development level,growth rate,and industrial competitiveness of the primary,secondary,and tertiary industries to find out the problems existing in Ningxia’s current industrial structure,to put forward practical optimization suggestions combined with the national strategic direction.According to the research results,the evolution of Ningxia’s industrial structure has gone through three main stages,with the proportion of primary industries gradually decreasing and the proportion of tertiary industries increasing gradually.Through the model of "Deviation-share Model ",it is shown that the contribution of the benefits of Ningxia’s industrial structure to regional economic growth is weakening dynamically,but it also shows the conclusion that the competitiveness of the tertiary industry is gradually increasing.Besides,combined with the location quotient analysis method,it is analyzed that Ningxia’s agricultural industry,tourism,non-ferrous metals,and industrial equipment manufacturing industries have relative advantages. |
