Optimization Analysis Of Industrial Structure In Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone

Under the background that the national economy maintains long-term growth and the industrial structure is becoming more rationalized,due to the differences in resource endowments and policy opportunities in the western region,the economic disparity between regions has been continuously expanding with poor regional development coordination and irrational industrial structure.The northeast Sichuan economic zone belongs to the economically underdeveloped area of Sichuan province,and the deep poverty in the region is serious.The "Northeast Sichuan Economic Zone Development Plan(2014-2020)" issued by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government in 2014 pointed out that the overall level and concentration of industries in the economic zone are relatively low,and the problem of homogenization is prominent and the endogenous power for economic growth is weak.According to these issues raised in the plan,the article analyzes the industrial structure of the economic zone in northeastern Sichuan from the perspective of the convergence of industrial structure,and proposes corresponding suggestions for optimizing the industrial structure.The paper first sorts out the related theory of industrial structure and the method of measuring the convergence of industrial structure,and analyzes the socio-economic situation and industrial evolution of the economic zone;then uses the three methods of production value comparison,industrial structure similarity coefficient and location quotient to analysis for the economic zone.The calculation of structural similarity of industries at different levels finds that there are convergences in the industrial structure among the three industries,the primary industry,the industries above the industrial scale and the tertiary industry has obvious convergence but the degree decline.Combined with the actual situation in the economic zone,the reasons for the convergence of the regional industrial structure are analyzed,mainly including resource endowments,regional interests,geographic locations,and economic development levels.Subsequently,in order to analyze the influence of industrial structure convergence on the economic development of the economic zone,the paper uses the deviation component of the industrial structure from shift-share analysis to measure the industrial structure's contribution to economic growth,and finds that all of them have positive effects on economic growth.That is to say,the industrial of the economic zone has promoted regional economic development to some extent.Then we analyze whether the industrial convergence in the economic zone is consistent with the degree of convergence of the industrial structure at each level in the economic zone.In the economic zone,the degree of convergence among the three industries,the primary industry,and the industrial structure above the designated size has increased,and it is desirable,but the degree of convergence of the tertiary industry has weakened,therefore,it is undesirable.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the industrial structure of the economic zone,the corresponding industrial structure optimization suggestions are proposed.
