| VUCA age increasing market competition and the change of consumer demand increase the complexity and uncertainty in the external environment and the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 also has a negative impact on social economy,enterprises as the micro market main body face unprecedented challenges in the management,the traditional small and medium-sized enterprise management difficult.In the current context,corporate entrepreneurship provides enterprises with the possibility to deal with uncertainty and build new competitive advantages,which has been widely concerned by the academic and practical circles.Existing literature has pointed out that organizations can build new competitive advantages and obtain new development momentum through corporate entrepreneurship.However,the research related to corporate entrepreneurship pays little attention to the role of leadership in the process of motivating employees’ internal entrepreneurial behavior.Therefore,this study focuses on the theme of "How does CEO entrepreneurial leadership stimulate employees’ internal entrepreneurial behavior" and takes Ding Hao Catering Co.,LTD.(HEREINAFTER referred to as DH Catering)as the research object.Through embedded case study,it seeks for the internal mechanism of entrepreneurial leadership to stimulate employees’ internal entrepreneurial behavior to fill relevant research gaps.This study firstly sorts out the research on entrepreneurial leadership,corporate entrepreneurship,and intra-employee entrepreneurship and puts forward the research framework.Secondly,through interviews and other forms,this study extensively collected the enterprise information of DH catering,comprehensively grasped the situation of the three start-up projects it has carried out,and conducted data coding according to the case study method,so as to construct the process mechanism of entrepreneurial leaders to stimulate the internal entrepreneurial behavior of employees.The findings of this research are as following.(1)In the process of stimulating employees’ internal entrepreneurial behavior,CEO entrepreneurial leadership mainly plays the role of strategic foresight,commitment building,innovation incentive,management reform and risk mitigation.Among them,strategic foresight provides direction guidance for company entrepreneurship;Establishing commitment by shaping a team with high commitment to the realization of entrepreneurial vision to provide the necessary conditions for the company to start a business;Innovation incentive provides internal motivation for company entrepreneurship by reforming incentive mechanism and building training system.Management reform provides strong support for corporate entrepreneurship through self-adaptation of organizational mechanism.Risk mitigation Through the improvement of risk control mechanism to help organizations deal with risks and uncertainties in the process of entrepreneurship,to provide a solid guarantee for corporate entrepreneurship.(2)Entrepreneurial intention is the key factor for employees to produce intrapreneurial behavior.CEO entrepreneurial leadership in the company "doer" entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial business "facilitator" two characters,strategic vision,commitment,innovation incentive,management change and dissolve the risk of the role of the five aspects of entrepreneurial opportunities,entrepreneurial team and organizational support companies such as entrepreneurial factors influence,and inspire employees to show the internal entrepreneurship.In this process,CEO entrepreneurial leaders constantly update their entrepreneurial cognition through entrepreneurial learning,optimize entrepreneurial decisions,empower entrepreneurs,and ensure a high degree of consistency of organizational values in the entrepreneurial process of the company through organizational culture.(3)There is an evolution process in the stimulation of CEO entrepreneurial leadership to employees’ internal entrepreneurial behavior.In the initial stage,managers take the lead,and employees are organized to participate in intrapreneurial activities under the dual influence of leaders’ personal authority and organizational support.With the continuous improvement of relevant mechanisms,employees show more initiative in the process of entrepreneurship,and finally can actively identify and develop entrepreneurial opportunities,forming bottom-up internal entrepreneurship behavior. |
