| Nowadays, with the fast development of Internet and smart devices, game software industry has achieved high-speed growth in recent years. In 2014, the game software industry has surpassed traditional industries including the movie industry, and become the No.1 in digital publishing industries in China, and plays an important role in China’s economy. Meanwhile, the threshold for entrepreneurs to enter the game software industry has been greatly reduced; it only takes one product manager and a couple of programmers to kick off a game project. However, a successful product will bring huge return to entrepreneurs in a short period of time. After realizing that low investment could result in high payback, people from different industries has taken part in the entrepreneurial activities in the game software industry.At the beginning of this paper, we will describe the background of the game software industry and specialty of game entrepreneurship, in order to discover the meaning of this research. Also, the research frame will be created based on leadership behavior theories, leadership decision theories, and entrepreneurial theories, with real entrepreneurial cases as the study material.During my research, leadership behavior theories, leadership decision theories, and entrepreneurial theories will be built as the foundation of this research. Through analyzing three real game entrepreneurship cases using the theories mentioned above, we will find out how leaders’ behaviors and decisions impact final results. Furthermore, 3 entrepreneurial companies will be compared together to find out what’s in common, and what makes the difference.In the end, the research will give a conclusion that leaders have to understand the game market and target users, and position themselves correctly. Also, a thorough understanding on how leadership behaviors and decisions impact entrepreneurial result will be the key to success. |
