With the rapid development of Internet finance,both Internet companies and technology companies are expected to participate in the financial industry,which has brought commercial banks a wave of changes in technological innovation,operation management and business methods.Facing the current situation of interest rate market reform and brutal competition in the financial industry,commercial banks have seen a precipitous decline in annual revenue and the number of active customers,and their profit margins have been seriously squeezed.The physical branches,the main channel for traditional commercial banks to gain customers and revenue,are also facing a new situation of decelerating profit growth.According to the statistics in the "2020 China Banking Services Report",the number of physical outlets under commercial banks will be about more than 200,000 by the end of 2020;according to incomplete statistics,commercial banks refurbished and renovated 12,800 offline outlets(including renovation and relocation,etc.)that year;5,580 community outlets and 2,206 small and micro outlets were built.Changes in customer demand are the main driving force behind the intelligent transformation of banks,especially under the influence of the new crown pneumonia epidemic,commercial banks have clearly felt the importance and necessity of improving remote services and online customer service capabilities.Through the intelligent transformation of outlets,commercial banks can,to a certain extent,maximize the value of outlets,effectively connect offline and online,efficiency and security,marketing and service,meet customers’ personalized financial needs,provide diverse,exclusive and scenario-based financial products and services,and continuously improve the sense of customer experience,thus increasing stickiness.Based on the rapidly developing market environment,how to accelerate the intelligent transformation and upgrading of branches,and find opportunities and seek development in the digital era has become an urgent problem for commercial banks nowadays.This thesis uses literature research method and field research method to analyze the actual situation of intelligent transformation of Z commercial bank branches,explore the practical problems faced by the transformation of bank branches in the context of scientific and technological progress and rapid development of intelligence,take Z commercial bank G branch as the case study object,propose a targeted branch optimization plan to intelligently upgrade the branch,and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the plan,and conclude that the continuous intelligent upgrade of bank branches can improve performance benefits.Specifically,first of all,by reviewing and summarizing the articles and materials related to the intelligent transformation of commercial bank branches at home and abroad,we found that the implementation of intelligent transformation of bank branches must ride on the"technology express" to empower financial innovation and development in order to be in a favorable position in the fierce competition in the Internet era.Secondly,this thesis elaborates the theoretical concepts such as channel management,process reengineering and lean production,which enriches the theoretical foundation and lays a solid foundation for the subsequent chapters.Once again,the current situation of intelligent transformation of Z commercial bank branches is analyzed,the problems and shortcomings in the intelligent transformation of branches are identified,and the optimization plan and guarantee measures are designed with G branch as an example.Finally,the effectiveness of the optimization scheme is analyzed,and it is concluded that the transformation of intelligent bank branches in the digital era can be deployed in terms of optimizing the internal layout of branches,upgrading intelligent devices,optimizing business processes,and building a financial ecosystem.The research of this thesis can not only be an optimization plan for the intelligent transformation of G branch of Z commercial bank,but also can be used as a theoretical basis for the intelligent transformation of other branches of Z commercial bank,and has some reference and significance for the intelligent transformation of other commercial bank branches.
