The Impact Of Import Trade On Enterprise Innovation

This study collected the data for 71 enterprises from Wind database,CNRDS database,Enterprise annual reports,Enterprise patent database and China customs import and export database during year 2008-2017.Analyses the impact of import trade of enterprises innovation by panel data regression and create demonstration model.Also considered enterprise asset scale,number of employees,entrepreneur salary level,employees salary level,export openness as control variable.Use the number of patent applications as enterprises innovation ability.From the study:the import trade of enterprises have a positive impact of the enterprises innovation ability,the higher import trade,the more innovation applications of enterprises.It is more remarkable in State-owned enterprises,medium-sized enterprises and high-tech enterprises.It also shows the productivity of enterprises have a positive impact for the enterprises innovation.The higher productivity,the better innovation level of the enterprise.It is easy to see the promoting role of import trade can push enterprise improve their productivity and encourage more innovations.From this interactive process:the import trade is a very important bridge and international information communication channels that connected enterprises and international market.Through the import trade can learn more newest knowledge and international skills that help upper productivity and optimize internal framework.The innovation always come from the internal needs,based on the requirement of optimize the resources and essential factor allocation,more and more technical optimization innovation and enterprise management framework innovation were created.Meanwhile,the import trad also come with Fierce competition of internal market,the enterprise wants to live and develop in the competition market will try their best to make thing difference,then a big innovation storm,through the imitation innovation to independent innovation is coming.
