Digital transformation is the company’s use of the latest digital technologies,such as the Internet of Things,5G,edge computing,cloud computing,etc.,to reshape business processes,and achieve collaboration and co-creation with upstream and downstream partners such as employees,suppliers,and customers through digital means.The process of value,and thereby achieve the company’s driving force for sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive market environment.Especially in recent years,the ups and downs of the new crown epidemic have been long,the revenue growth of traditional companies has slowed down,the profitability level has been greatly challenged,and the company’s development has become more and more difficult.Logistics companies have achieved great success through digital transformation,such as JD Logistics,SF Logistics,and Three Links and One Delivery.Company A’s main building materials products are bulk commodity logistics,and the level of digitalization is still relatively backward.No matter in terms of hardware facilities,management level,personnel quality,digitalization degree,etc.,there is a big gap with the level of consumer-oriented logistics benchmarking enterprises..The purpose of this study is to optimize the logistics business process of company A.Firstly,the literature is reviewed,the research status of business process optimization,logistics business process optimization and logistics digitalization is analyzed,and the related theories and methods of digital transformation and business process optimization adopted in the paper are introduced.Firstly,the logistics status and informatization level of Company A are analyzed.The logistics business of Company A relies on the advantages of the West Railway Station and the surrounding wharfs,makes use of the railway,waterway and road transportation network extending in all directions,builds advanced logistics infrastructure,and provides customers with door-to-door "one-stop" logistics services,including Cargo transportation(road,rail,sea,road-rail combined transportation,high-sea combined transportation,etc.),freight forwarding,cargo handling,warehousing and other services,the main customers are the customers who need bulk commodities on the west bank of the Pearl River.The logistics business process is mainly divided into three links:business handover,cargo transportation and warehousing,and settlement,including the marketing department,the production operation department,and the financial department.After the marketing department develops the market,the production and operation department is responsible for the transportation and storage of goods.Finally,the finance department is responsible for the settlement with customers and outsourcing units.It has a certain level of informatization and a good foundation for enterprise informatization,but there is no independent informatization department,the level of informatization human resources is low,and the level of development and utilization of information resources is low,and there is the phenomenon of information islands.After sorting out the current situation and digitalization level of company A’s logistics business process,in order to deeply understand the problems existing in the current process and identify the processes that need to be optimized,the survey was carried out in the form of a survey questionnaire.Master the main problems that actually exist in the operation of the process.By analyzing the data of the survey questionnaire,it was found that the operation efficiency of the logistics business process of Company A was low,mainly due to the problems of imperfect organizational structure,long settlement time,and low level of digitalization.The main reasons for the imperfect organizational structure are: the degree of specialization of departments needs to be further improved,the efficiency of inter-departmental communication needs to be improved,and no special information management organization has been set up;the problem of long settlement time is mainly due to the fact that there are many operational task nodes and business fluency It is not high,the inventory accounts do not match,the inventory time is long,and the settlement process is too many.The quality index is only 56.60%,the problem of information orphans is serious,the data entry is inconvenient,the information transmission relies on paper documents,and the automation function is weak.Then,through the theory of digital transformation and the method of business process optimization,it puts forward suggestions on the optimization design of company A’s logistics business process,so that the activities in each link of the process can maximize value-added activities as much as possible,and minimize invalid or non-value-added activities as much as possible.,and design and optimize each activity in the process from the goal of global optimization rather than local optimization of the overall process.It also gave suggestions on the optimization steps for the optimization and implementation of the logistics business process of Company A.By changing the thinking mode and optimizing the organizational structure,the goal of digital transformation of the logistics business process was set.Transformation logistics business process optimization.By improving the digital infrastructure,upgrading the information system,deploying intelligent equipment such as unmanned weighbridges,smart terminals,PDA,etc.,establishing a unified data standard,building a data center to access the data of each system,eliminating information islands,supporting logistics operations and cost calculation,intelligent services,statistical analysis,etc.,combined with the Internet of Things technology,intelligent management of the park,real-time inventory statistics and assisted storage,outbound,inventory operations through PDA handheld terminals;automatic statistical calculation of inventory related costs,for logistics business Realize the automatic settlement of the system and realize the integration of business and finance;optimize the process to reduce the non-value-added,duplication,coordination and other work of employees,and improve the efficiency of employees’ value-added activities;at the same time,the business review and decision-making points are placed in the process of business process execution,shortening information Communication channels and time,thereby improving the response speed of the business;at the same time,a single point of contact between the business and the process is achieved as much as possible,which is not only conducive to smooth processes and clear responsibilities,but also conducive to improving the satisfaction inside and outside the company.the purpose of operational efficiency.
