| Salt chemical industry is an important link between upstream energy industry and downstream manufacturing industry.Salt industry and salt chemical industry trade are important support for industrial production and national economic development. With the rapid rise of developing countries, the growing demand for salt chemical products in the manufacturing sectors of daily use and textile drives the development of trade, and the trade network structure of salt chemical products becomes increasingly complicated. At the same time, the international background of trade frictions between China and the US have intensified, rising trade protectionism and emerging anti-globalization also challenges the structural stability of the trade network of salt chemical products. As early as the early 1980 s,China began to establish stable trade relations and cooperation with neighboring countries,"the central committee of the communist party of China to develop the national economy and social development of 14 five-year plan and 2035 vision" explicitly put forward "deep traditional export markets, guide enterprises to expand trade scale with its neighboring countries,a stable international market share".Therefore,to clarify the internal development trend and driving mechanism of China’s salt industry and salt chemical industry trade network with neighboring countries can provide reference for the salt industry and salt chemical industry to effectively cope with the complex international environment and deepen the trade cooperation strategy. In view of this, based on the trade data of salt and salt chemical industry between China and its neighboring countries, this thesis analyzed the spatial-temporal evolution characteristics and driving mechanism of trade network of salt and salt chemical industry between China and its neighboring countries from 2000 to 2019 by using social network method, visual analysis tool and geographical weighted regression model(GWR).The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The development trend of The foreign trade of China’s salt industry and salt chemical industry as well as the foreign trade of China’s salt industry and salt chemical industry with its neighboring countries has experienced three stages: stable growth period, fluctuating promotion period and rapid decline period. The salt industry and salt chemical products import and export trade between China and its neighboring countries is mainly characterized by export and import.(2)In terms of temporal evolution, the trade links between countries have increased, the degree of inter connected has deepened, the cohesion of the overall trade network structure has improved, and the network efficiency has gradually improved. In terms of spatial evolution, the trade network structure presents a multi-level hub-spoke spatial structure, the trade flow spatial distribution is uneven, and the high-value trade flow partial presents a point-pair link distribution. The pattern of subgroup is characterized by both adjacent block spatial distribution and cross-distance sporadic distribution. In the inner visualization of subgroup,China keeps the absolute core position in the subgroup, but the position advantage and correlation degree show a downward trend. In terms of degree centrality, the top countries’ exports and imports are growing steadily, and their trade options are diversifying. The core-periphery structure of the trade network between China and its neighboring countries in salt industry and salt chemical industry is basically stable, and the core degree of the peripheral countries is gradually increasing, and it is closer to the core region.(3)The driving mechanism study shows that economic development, industrial scale, population scale and scientific and technological progress all play a positive driving role on salt industry and salt chemical industry trade, and the driving degree is economic development > industrial scale > population scale > scientific and technological progress. |
